Yeah,  Tulsi says hello. Biggest moderate, extraordinarily anti war.

    https://www.politico.com/2020-election/candidates-views-on-the-issues/tulsi-gabbard/

I don't see her as being all that moderate to be honest. She's not as far left as Sanders but she's definitely one of his biggest allies if not his biggest ally in the Democratic party. I would actually go as far to say that Gabbard is by far the furthest left candidate aside from Sanders.

  2. Moderation is the enemy to all who agree major changes must occur. That would ensure that everything most agree on like.being anti war/anti surveleince was refleted in our politics.

The rest should be and in my opinion would be up for debate. People who present themseleves as a moderate alternative are almost always to convince us to go to war and spent lots of money doing it.

That's bad for Dems imo. If Bernie is your candidate, you lose. At least by my estimation lol.

You sure? I haven't seen a grass roots campaign with this much money and man power behind it in my lifetime. I think this conflict with Iran will go a long way towards determining that. Sanders could be an anti-war candidate running against a guy who got elected in part by saying he wanted out of the middle east but is instead dragging us into another war without congressional approval? Idk man, i know you can't stand Sanders but that doesn't mean he loses to Trump. If the media can sell people on going to war with Iran, maybe he loses but people care about having health care, not about getting into another endless war.

I fully expect him to be assassinated though if they can't just outright rig the primary against him.

That offensive line has been getting beat the hell up lately.

There eagles secondary won't let them get close imo.

I tend to agree with you on the Eagles but if by some crazy chance they did make it, they would be riding a 7 game win streak and they'd be feeding off that same under dog energy they did when they won it all. Seems like a trap game for a team with a young QB and a mediocre HC.

“Bernie Sanders is closing the year with the most donations of any candidate in history at this point in a presidential campaign,” Sanders’s campaign manager Faiz Shakir said in a statement

Any poll that doesn't have Sanders leading should not be considered legitimate at this point.

Brees, with those stats is also 1 - 5 in the playoffs on the road. His only win coming against the Nick Foles / Chip Kelly Eagles.. Brees sucked major ass that day and Saints kicked a FG as time expired.

A super bowl is a road game for both teams and Drew Brees has gotten some pretty shit teams into the playoffs. He's had several historically bad defenses and honestly playing like shit most of a game and pulling it out in the end, is to me, a measure of greatness. To me that says he can win any kind of game so long as he's in striking distance.

Breesus is amazing. To me he is the best QB in football. That said it's not him, it's his line that will cripple him. He has proven short guys can be dominant. That said with his offensive line in his face it is a huge problem. That will be their undoing.

Maybe man but that offensive line is also pretty damn good and keeping him on his feet and making holes for the run game. If the Saints can keep it close and give Brees a shot at the end, I'm not sure how you don't fear the Saints. They're a very complete team with a ballsy coach and a hall of fame QB who might be the most accurate thrower of the football who ever lived. If there's one thing that can beat great coverage, that'd be it.

Edit: also in regards to the Eagles or any other NFC team who makes the super bowl, we saw the Giants beat the undefeated Pats. We saw the Steelers win the Super Bowl with Cowher at what? 9-7? Hell, the Ravens won it at 9-7. Any team hot enough to make it to the Super Bowl can win it.

Sure any given Sunday but if every team plays their best games the chiefs are the only team that is concerning. We beat both the saints and 9ers by two possessions if both teams play their best. The 9ers game was never as close as it looked. Save for 1 of 2 Lamar Jackson fumbles on the season coming in their redzone we go up two scores and it never gets close.

Our secondary could smother Thomas, and Kamara is still not the same guy he was with Ingram. I would take 5 backs over him at this point.

Don't forget who's throwing them the ball. In 15 post season games, Brees has thrown for over 4700 yards, 33 TD's and just 11 picks all at a 65% rate.

  10. I hear ya man, it isn't the same old Pats. I just have a feeling he'll cook something up for Jackson. They lack some talent on offense but i think defensively they have some talent. I still don't trust a running QB against Belichick come playoff time. I don't want to see the Pats in the Super Bowl, trust me. Lol

  11. I think the Saints might do it this year. To me they're the most balanced team and the best team. They've kind of been for two years now and two years in a row they had flukey exits. I still think the Pats will end up in the Super Bowl because i think Belichick will put the clamps on Jackson in the playoffs and Andy Reid will do everything possible to make sure he doesn't win the big game.

  12. @ThanatosWhat about the way they've covered Sanders for 5 years now? How about Tulsi? How about the debates they host where they spit Republican talking points at anyone for medicare for all? Whar war have they ever opposed besides Iraq ten years after the fact? MSNBC is controlled opposition designed to make you hate your uncle for voting for the other team. They want you to argue about gender and Russiagate lies so you don't stand up against the war machine, fossil fuel, the banks, the healthcare industry etc. You know, the people who own this country, and are running it (and thr planet) into the ground for profit.

Sean, buddy, youre not breaking any news here. I have LOOOOOOONG said that the media is the enemy of the people, and one of the pillar's on which I build that argument is the one you have used. You will not get an argument out of me that the news cycle is probably the most damaging thing going on in our country.  If Trump is brilliant for any one thing, it is calling that out. People have long known it, and now that we are seeing it and saying something, all of the years of frustrations are boiling to the surface making things as bad as they are. You have the uber right guy thinking Mexicans are just awful, and you have that pussy Van Jones saying, "Feel their pain." What a pussy.  I get it.

AS to Fox, yeah...They are garbage. Wont even attempt to say they arent. That being said they are responding to MSNBC's brand of fuckery. Or MSNBC is replaying to theirs. Its the chicken or the egg. I dont care who started it and Im sure either side can make the case their right. I dont care.

As to my media exposure, I dont really get a choice lol. Ill walk into the employees breakroom and that shit is always on. Then I get razzed for being,"The Man" and conservative by the employees, its all in jest though. Although I like to point out I would be the only conservative on the planet running a union shop.  When I get home it is always documentary's or whatever my wife and kids have on, which lately is every manner of Christmas movie.

And if nobody should watch it, how do you know what they are saying? I feel like you think that the rest of the group doesnt see what you see. Than is probably the most SANE liberal on the board, and he would not disagree with much of what is being said. I think we all know wal-mart and Amazon are bad things.  Settle down Sean, we are awake. Even though their is a vast difference between being awake and being WOKE. Rest easy Sean, we are not dumb.

No, we mostly agree but with one difference. Fox isn't reacting to MSNBC or vice versa. They're just a part of a show. My team vs your team. It's not a balancing act. They want a partisan divide. It's by design. They all run the same ads which means they're ultimately beholden to the same people.

  14. CNN, MSNBC and Fox are all designed to make us quibble over stupid bullshit. MSDNC is not liberal. They're just as pro war and just as corporate as Fox but they waive the LGBTQ flag around and pretend to oppose Trump. Why don't they ever talk about how Democrats fast tracked all of Trump's judge appointments or how they re-authorized the Patriot Act and gave Trump an extra 100 billion to drop bombs when they've been screaming about how he's a puppet of a foreign leader for the last 4 years? Same goes for CNN. They're garbage and they lie every single day because they make money off the people who put ads on their network and because they're both massive corporations. This is all 100% political theatre.

That's not to say Fox isn't garbage. I can see Than's point. They do openly push hate and racism but that's just because they're team Republican and that's all the Republican party has to offer people.

It's all just a show. It's meaningless and nobody shouldnl watch any of it. It's all lies. MSDNC and CNN hide behind superficial me too/cancel culture nothingness to anesthetize the left and Fox hides behind white nationalism which is further fueled everyday by the other two networks making it out to be like all straight white men are the devil as if their jobs haven't been shipped over seas and their communities haven't been raped by Wal Mart and Amazon. Wake up, guys.

  15. One, i didn't stop learning after i graduated high school. Two, who says you can't abuse drugs and alcohol and still educate yourself? Lol. Also, i don't believe the propaganda of the left either. I've been saying for years now that all the Russia stuff was bullshit and i've never bought into the pc/cancel culture bullshit.

  16. @DJT20 Climate change bullshit? Lol Even if i grant you climate change is bullshit, why not invest into renewable energy? It's better technology with much more potential. The obvious reason is because of the massive amounts of money oil people will lose. They're the ones who pay "experts" to convince dummies like you climate change doesn't exist. I find it hilarious that so many people believe that there's all this money in faking climate change? More money than what Big oil already has? Lol

Don't you want clean water? Do you want to end up walking around with masks like they do in China? Why would we let society as a whole suffer for a handful to profit? As there are more and more people people polluting, both of those problems will get worse. Or does that basic logic escape you too.

Climate change deniers are so fucking dumb. Who cares if some white priveleded girl is the mascott? It's not like they don't have similar figures on the other side. That's just political theatre and honestly irrelevant.

What ever happened to Teddy Roosevelt conservatives who wanna...you know...conserve the environment? Then again you probably don't know shit about history or anything outside of the retarded propaganda you consume without any question or critical thought because it's pro white. Democrats aren't the only ones who feed off of identity politics.

  17. It's on Bezos because literally nobody in the country benefits more off of doing business in the US than he does. His company can operate at a loss because it pays no taxes so it can destroy business all over the country. It's on people with the most money because as the old saying goes it takes money to make money. That alone gives him and others like him a massive advantage. There are people with money with just make money by investing in people with actual ideas that just lack capital. Some of those people literally just inherited a fortune. I think that's pretty whack, personally.

As for people not doing business in poor areas because they're often violent, I mean, that's true but that's part of the reason why we have a federal government. If the federal government started converting old car plants and steel plants in places like Detroit, Chicago, LA, Philly, wherever and gave people an option to say hey, you can have this union job that you can support your family with or make next to nothing selling drugs for a gang in your neighborhood, I'm telling you right now a lot of those people are taking that job. Maybe not all of them but it's a start.

Part of the issue with education is the enormous cost which people against free college have a great point on. They get all this federal and state money and give their buddies nice cushy administration jobs and stuff like that. I think that's relatively easy to fix though. If you get federal and state money you can only devote x amount of dollars to administration. The profits you make for athletics, x amount has to go to actual education. If not you can always be a private university and get no money. I think part of the reason why people pick the wrong fields to study in is it's such a huge decision to make when you're 18 and once you've invested a certain amount of time and money you're kind of locked in. Public schools do such a poor job of preparing you and offering guidance and information. You hardly learn anything about economics or personal finance or really much of anything for that matter in public school. You learn enough to take a standardized test to hopefully get good enough scores to compete for money. How does that make sense? We're sending kids to obedience factories, churning out drone people and medicating the fuck out of them. A lot of parents are both working 40 hours a week. It's hard to help with homework or keep your kids out of trouble when nobody is around and mom and dad are under a massive amount of stress trying to make It happen and keep everyone's head above water.

  18. People make their own choices so at the end of the day you're not going to eliminate poverty completely but if we could at least pretend it was an issue and even attempt to do anything about it, that'd be dope. I see people talk about how much they want to see mental health addressed so they can keep their guns. Plenty of people in this country who are homeless are mentally ill. Can we talk about how 1 in 5 children lives in poverty? That's 13.3 million kids in the richest, most powerful country in the world. I bet you if Bezos put half his fortune to that cause we would be in a much better place in that regard. Spoiler alert, He's not going to, most of it is probably sitting in bank accounts.

Well I mean even if we ended the drug war, you think gangs just up and go away? Even if we legalized all drugs there would still be a black market.

    And if a gangbanger dies...so?

Prohibition of alcohol, drugs and gambling and poverty are pretty much the reasons why organized crime exists. Do I think ending the drug war would be a magic bullet to end organized crime? No. Do I think it would be a much more effective solution than further militarizing the police force that apparently already Don't know the meaning of non lethal force despite having tasers, pepper spray and batons? You bet your sweet ass I do. Lol
