it's basically what we have now, a federal minimum that states are free to set something above, which many states do, basically what I'm saying is go ahead and raise the federal minimum wage but it doesn't need to go all the way to $15, leave that for the states that need to
-
I'm glad someone else is on board with me on this, yes, minimum wage needs to go up, and yes, there are places where it does need to be $15/hour, but no, it doesn't need to be $15/hour everywhere in the country, that sort of increase would cripple a lot of small town economies.

It's not about wins eradicating losses, it's about OSU having more wins over quality opponents than Bama did. OSU beat Wisconsin (#6), Penn State (#9), and Michigan State (#16), who all finished higher in the CFP rankings than the highest ranked team Bama beat (LSU at #17). The Big 10 was one of the top conferences this year, so I don't like leaving them out to give two teams to a weak (this season) SEC.

So at this point the Committee has pretty clearly established that losses are more important than wins, if I cared about college football I'd be pretty upset about that assessment
-
I can vouch for that

Which player would you take from your opponents team?

Think I'd have to go with Clowney, Hopkins is tempting but we don't know how to use receivers -
But we knew that was going to happen, right?

pretty sure they're trying to keep him healthy so they can trade him this offseason, he's still got two years left on his current deal and teams will bid for him

So here's an interesting footnote: Geno Smith will be the first black quarterback to start for the Giants, and they are the last team to start a black quarterback This article has a list of who has that distinction for each franchise: Geno Smith replaces Eli Manning, becomes New York Giants’ first black starting QB - SBNation.com

Titans would be the 3rd seed and Jags would be the first wild card if playoffs started now, and far worse teams have been in the playoffs Which six AFC teams would you put in? Patriots and Steelers are given, who are the other four?

I'd rather be a shittty 7-4 team than a great 4-7 team

It might help to elect some representatives under the age of 50

yeah, it's a bit of an exaggeration, I think the biggest thing is that it exceeded my expectations by so much, I thought they did an excellent job of balancing out the number of characters, particularly given how many were new, and Steppenwolf was actually a solid villain, which Marvel has had a lot of trouble with (but they're getting better)

Really? I thought it was awesome, honestly think it's at least as good as anything in the MCU, and this is coming from someone who hasn't been a huge fan of the recent run of DC movies and has been a huge fan of just about everything in the MCU

This comes up every year, but I've yet to hear a convincing argument of why Gruden would leave the booth. Maybe he has the itch to get back into the competition, but I don't think I've heard anyone say that and he seems to be perfectly happy in his analyst role with his camps filling in the coaching end. I just don't see why someone would leave one of the lowest pressure positions in the business for one of the highest pressure positions, especially since with Gruden I don't think it'd come with much of a pay raise. He's already making $6.5M, which would put him among the highest paid coaches in the league. Only reason this makes sense is if ESPN is actually collapsing (which I don't think is the case) and he's jumping while he can.

The fact that the owners already voted to give the Committee this authority is going to make it really difficult to argue that Jones' suit isn't frivolous.

Tell me one of them I'd love to read it.

Oddly enough the Thursday night game in week 11 will be our first game since week 1 with everyone healthy

Yeah, it's not pretty, but we're finding ways to win, and considering how often we've found ways to lose these sorts of games I'll take the improvement

Let me first say that I think the Colts would be stupid to move on from Luck unless the injury is way worse than anyone's letting on. That said, there was an interesting piece earlier this week suggesting that some of Jim Irsay's comments (which are all old comments) could be alienating Luck and may force a change. I'm linking the article below, but what do ya'll think? Is this more than simple clickbait?
