2020 Democratic Primary Race

Recommended Posts

I figured since there are like 50 people running it deserves it's own thread right? I also did not want to quadruple post in Trump Regime thread. Lol

More and more I'm starting to get behind Tulsi over Bernie. Tulsi doesn't give a fuck. She's going on CNN and talking about the intelligence agencies. Regime change war. She is one of the strongest advocates for human rights in Israel and Palestine (although not as strong as I would like). She supports due process and speech. Right now her, Bernie and Gravel are the only Candidates I would accept and vote for. Yang is getting some hype but I do not like how close he is to Silicon Valley.

I think somebody has something on Bernie. I think he's afraid they won't let him run as a Democrat if he doesn't play ball and I think they're probably threatening his wife too. Whatever they have on him doesn't seem to be effecting Tulsi

Why? Lol I thought it was well known that they were fucking with Jane Sanders. If you Google it you'll see a bunch of articles about it from "official" news organizations. If you look at some of the shit that the DCCC has put out they're actively going after progressives. It's not even debatable. It's a fact. I can provide sources if you are unaware.

Is it crazy not to accept Democrats that are bought by large donors? Am I crazy to prefer Tulsi Gabbard because of her foreign policy or her courage to speak out against the intelligence agencies that have been PROVEN to have lied to get us into multiple wars? I know you don't think they lied about Iraq for some reason but you cannot deny Vietnam. McNamara admitted it. It is well known.

Explain to me what I said that's crazy.

The idea that the Dems are literally threatening Jane Sanders to get Bernie Sanders "in-line" when he lost the primary to Hillary last time is tin-foil hat worthy.

I have no problem with Tulsi I will vote for her in a heartbeat if she gets the nod.

How? Why? You know that it's already been proven that the Dems cheated for Hillary right? I wasn't even just speaking to the 2016 primary though. I was speaking to the fact that Bernie rarely acknowledges DNC corruption, even when it's against him and the millions of people that gave him donations and supported him. He refuses to go at the leadership of the party, despite the fact that they have relentlessly attacked him for 3 years now. He hasn't said ANYTHING about Assange. Isn't that curious? I mean he's said absolutely nothing? Weird.

Have you seen how Dems have attacked AOC  and Ilhan Omar? Why would you call that crazy? I can understand wanting to see proof but calling it crazy? Really bro? You have your head buried in the sand. idk why.

Therefore the DNC must be threatening his wife. You see, you make good points a lot, but then you Glenn Beck it all up.

Also Hillary beat Bernie by more than 3.5 million votes. Legitimately.  I have no earthly reason why Dems voted for her over Bernie, but they did. The DNC did some shady as fuck stuff because they're legally allowed to, but Hillary was winning that nomination regardless. Doesn't excuse what they did, by no means, but the idea that the DNC stole the nomination from Sanders is just patently untrue.

People were removed from voting rolls, debates were suppressed. donations were stolen. She didn't win a god damned thing legitimately lol. How many ways do you think she cheated? That's just what we know.

Also, did you miss all the stories about Sanders' and his wife's taxes?

He does. But he also wants to tax the shit out of Silicon Valley to provide UBI to everyone in the country. Lol

Anyone that takes corporate money is someone that I will never trust in politics point, blank, period. He can say whatever the fuck he wants. If he's taking large donations. If he's taking pac money, everything he says is suspect. What are his private positions? Fuck that man.

Obama said a lot of shit too. What turned out to be the reality? Citigroup owns him.

You sound like Trump now, lol. "I would have won if you don't count all the illegals that voted."

There weren't 3.7 million illegal votes, come on man. Voter fraud is a small problem in all elections, but it accounted for a minuscule amount of the total. I ain't saying they were right to do it, I'm saying Hillary wins the nomination going away regardless of what the DNC does. I've always said this, the DNC going after Bernie early on really upset a lot of his voters and it was a dumbass move because Hillary was winning easily regardless, so all it served to do was piss them off in the general election.

Does Bernie win if the DNC does nothing?

Does it even matter that much considering that Hillary was essentially running the DNC? Think about that astounding level of corruption. We saw that extended all the way to CNN and MSNBC. Donna Brazille and the Podesta emails are undeniable. I think it's possible he would have won. I think it's possible he would have still lost. Just from a logic stand point though, have you ever seen one man in your life time shift the political conversation in the way that Sanders has with Medicare for all? I mean, doesn't he just seem far more popular? Have you seen the crowds he drew? I don't think Hillary has ever been popular. I mean, you could say it's that she's polarizing but she just doesn't inspire the enthusiasm Sanders does. Something is amiss for me and there is enough proof of corruption for me to feel comfortable speculating on certain things. If nobody ever speculated anything we would never know anything.

Do you have sources or are you just making things up? Lol. Granted, I haven't looked super in depth and I'm taking what he's said and what a few sources have cited as turth... that may not be the case.

I know you like Tulsi, but Bernie has the the 2nd most "outside" dollars of any DNC contender right now that we know about and can trace. Seems a bit hypocritical of you to talk about Sweet Bern who is raking in money from the outside hand over fist while shitting on Yang who has taken $0. At least.. according to that source.

The DNC made having a bunch of small donors a positive thing -- allowing candidates into the debates if they hit a certain threshold.  That's how Yang has funded his campaign, that and some of his own money to get started. As of March, he had $1.7M raised from 80,000 donors... That's less than $20 per person.

You can't suck Bernie's cock and hate Andrew Yang based on money.

I have Yang slightly confused with this dude who ran for office near me named Andy Kim lol. I don't know that much about Yang tbh. I don't trust rich people lol. So apparently I'm racist and...classist? It's hard not to be at least a little bit racist though man haha. I am extremely prejudiced against rich people though and I really fucking hate those Neo-Liberal authoritarian pieces of shit in silicon valley.  They're like the PC version of Oil execs but they wear sneakers and t-shirts so they're just like one of us. Fuck. That.

Assange is not a good guy. Again, don't think we can extradite him without setting a horrible precedent, but people acting like this dude is some hero of a journalist makes me laugh.

I stopped reading pretty quick.

Was the information true or false ? True. It should be known to the public.

The narrative that what Assange did is bad because the information he released should’ve been kept secret from the public because it was so horrible isn’t legit to me.

Furthermore, using allegations of sexual misconduct doesn’t take away from releasing the TRUTH. This is a common tactic in the media to divert and distract you your attention.

Obviously rape or touching and anything else he is being accused of should be taken seriously and should be seen through to the end with the proper authorities and courts.

Still... that doesn’t take away from the information he released to the public. Information of corruption and crime that our public should know about.

This guy is also feasting on your fear of Russia as a means of convenience. He wants you thinking about Russia as the enemy under any and all circumstances.

Again, this is distracting people from what this story should be about. Who is really the agent of chaos here?

You (general sense, not literally Thanatos) hate Trump and believe in collusion with Russia. Nobody should interfere with our democracy or our elections.

Here comes Assange who reveals that not only ARE our elections being interferes with,  but it’s being orchestrated by our own fucking government !!! Response - throw Assange in prison!

It’s massively hypocritical in my mind. I’m not saying you have to like Assange as a person, I’m not asking you to donate money to his defense or go have a beer with him.

What I do want people to realize is that the information he revealed makes those people and organizations he outed the far more dangerous agent than he himself.

This crackdown on whistle blowers, really ramped up by Obama and continued by Trump is dangerous. Americans feeding into Red Scare 2 is sowing the fields of war.

It’s the same shit but way more elevated as what they (government/media/etc) have been doing for years. Korea, Egypt, Iraq, Cuba, etc etc etc.

Fuck that noise, bro. When do we learn ?

The fact that almost nobody gives a shit that we literally rig and orchestrate our own elections and nominating process to a large degree is what really worries me.  That shit is terrifying.

You know it's funny, Than calls me a conspiracy theorist and then posts some Twitter feed of some dude leaping to a bunch of conclusions with no evidence. He talked to people who know some people? He released info after the access Hollywood tape. Didn't he announce he was going to release the information before the Access Hollywood tape came out?

As for why he fled the Charges in Sweeden...he was afraid the US would force his extradition which is exactly what they're trying to do in England. He knew he was a dead man regardless of his innocence or guilt on the charges.  He knows first hand how he would be tortured. He knows better than most.

I don't mean to suggest that you should just blindly follow what Noam Chomsky says/does but I mean the guy is out immediately when the news breaks to defend him too. I trust Chomsky more than I do the CIA. When has he ever lied? How about our intelligence agencies? Lol

Say what you want about Elizabeth Warren but she's bringing up an issue that nobody else is talking about and she definitely deserves credit for that. I would love to see Sanders and Tulsi address this question too. I'm pretty excited about these debates. Hopefully they're not hijacked by bullshit Russiagate stuff and talking about Trump the whole time. We really need to look at who has control over this data and how they're allowed to use it. We also really need to look at how Amazon hosts the market place and competes in it and uses all kinds of dirty tricks to undercut the competition. I don't use Amazon, man. Fuck them.

I don't like the power companies like Amazon have, but I dn't like the idea of eminent domain-ing them practically.

Random. But I am glad Booker isn't getting much traction early on. That guy is such a slime ball. Bought and paid for by big pharma... CNN had a chart up earlier / the other day... Only 14% of his donors are "small" donors (giving 200$ or less). That is scarily low compared to other candidates.

It's the same thing that was done with the telephone companies and the railroad companies. Trust busting is something that Theordore Roosevelt did. What the alternative? You already know what that is and it's fucking scary. It's something that human beings and life as we know it on this planet can't survive.  It's Monarchy. It's royalty and divine right. Trust busting was without question the correct policy move. Free markets are as much of a figment of your imagination as the tooth fairy. History tells us what happens with true(or as true as it gets) lassiez faire economies. 19th century America was as lassiez faire as it gets and that's the reason why we have labor unions. People died to gain the rights we have. In a libertarian system you don't have a say. You don't have enough money to have a say. You don't own enough stock.

Say what you want about socialism/government but you have a vote. There is a path. Lassiez Faire isn't a meritocracy or democracy. It's not about who has the best ideas. Lassiez Faire is feudalism eventually. Once the classes are established divine right becomes who has the most money. Libertarianism is materialism. It has no practicality. It's why people are destroying the planet to maximize the profit for the next quarter so they don't get voted out by the shareholders. It's why people have no vision for the next generation or ten years down the road (and if they do they're voted out by the stock holders lol.). It's consumerism and mindlessness and I reject that notion that profit or having more than the next man is the purpose of human existence and our sole motivating factor in life.

It's weird though because it's also liberal and in a lot of ways but fucking A economically y'all have been duped.
