Turry 755 Posted April 3, 2011 Cowboys WR Troy Bergeron hauled in a whopping six touchdown receptions in the Cleveland Gladiators' Arena League victory over Chicago Saturday night.Bergeron is moonlighting in the Arena League because his reserve/future contract is up in the air without a CBA. The former Middle Tennessee State star has racked up an incredible 13 TDs in three games, standing second in the AFL with 78 points. He could work his way into the fifth-receiver mix in Dallas if he stays on. Source: Dallas Morning News
RazorStar 4,025 Posted April 3, 2011 Arena League beast wants a role on the Cowboys? Why doesn't he try going to a team that needs WR's?
NaTaS+ 958 Posted April 4, 2011 I'd like to see him stay on with the Gladiators, he's a monster.
oochymp 2,393 Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) I'd like to see him stay on with the Gladiators, he's a monster. it is kinda the classic debate, remain a monster in the Arena league or sit on the bench in the NFL, unfortunately you make a hell of a lot more as a benchwarmer in the NFL than you can as a star in the AFL, so he probably won't stick around the AFL for long Edited April 4, 2011 by oochymp
Krawnka 282 Posted April 4, 2011 Wasn't Bobby Sippio pretty good in the arena league as well?
