Clapton is a god of the electric guitar. I'm not sure there's anyone in this bracket who can touch him.

 

Randy Rhoads > Angus Young

I thought long and hard about this one. I think if Rhoads hadn't died so young his career would've had a lot more great music in it, and I think Angus is a little on the overrated side. His brother writes most of AC/DC's riffs, and their style kinda wears on me anyway.

 

Kirk Hammett > Marty Friedman

Another one I gave a lot of thought, but in the end I just think Kirk is better.

 

Buckethead > Dimebag Darrell

Only been getting into Buckethead recently, but he's so versatile it's ridiculous. Dimebag deserves a lot of credit for "Walk" alone, but I think his death overrated his legacy a bit (happens to everybody).
