Vin+ 3,121 Posted August 12, 2011 Panthers WR David Gettis was diagnosed with a torn ACL in his left knee. Gettis got his foot stuck in the turf while jammed at the line in Wednesday's practice. The athletic second-year receiver was running as the starter opposite Steve Smith early in camp. Brandon LaFell and Legedu Naanee will now vie for the starting job.
