Update: Cowboys rule out Miles Austin

Recommended Posts

Per Rotoworld.com:

Miles Austin was forced from Sunday's game against the Seahawks after aggravating his hamstring injury in the second quarter.

Austin had two catches for 53 yards before pulling up lame on a deep ball. Considering his history and the nature of hamstrings, we wouldn't expect to see him again the rest of the day. Laurent Robinson will pick up extra snaps opposite Dez Bryant. Nov 6 - 1:51 PM

Per Rotoworld.com:

Miles Austin (hamstring) is expected to be out 2-4 weeks, according to ESPN Dallas.

Austin has now sustained hamstring pulls on both of his legs this season. The latest one, on his right side, is almost certainly a Grade 2 kind of strain. The only good news for owners is that even if Austin misses the full month, he'll still be back in time for the fantasy playoffs. Meanwhile, Laurent Robinson is a must-add as the starter opposite Dez Bryant going forward. Nov 7 - 12:02 PM

Per Rotoworld.com:

Owner/GM Jerry Jones said Tuesday he expects Miles Austin (hamstring) to play in Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Jones says that Austin was moving around "real well" on Monday, but did add that the team will exercise caution. "He said he could go Sunday, but we'll see how this week goes along," Jones said. "We don't want to push that, because we've got a lot of football ahead of us. By the same token, we could use him. We've missed him." For now, we'd consider Austin merely questionable for Week 13. Hamstring pulls are tricky and fill-in Laurent Robinson has excelled. Nov 29 - 10:24 AM

Get him healthy and in shape. No more hammy bullshit. We'll need him with 3 major division games coming up. Add that on to the fact that we SHOULD win this Sunday. I say that lightly, because we seem to find ways to lose to Arizona.

I'd rather he sit anyway. Gonna need him vs NYG next week.

Dez and Laurent should go crazy against that piss poor secondary.
