Yeah, this.

 

You have the Bengals and the Reds as the top two sports teams in Ohio but fan based, Cleveland far exceeds any Cinci team. Are you ranking just based on success this year?

If this was based on success, the Pirates would be #2 in Pennsylvania. They do have 5 World Series titles. And the Kings wouldn't be #1 in California. Explain yourself, Bay. :D

It's recent success.

 

Take NJ for example. Giants are Super Bowl champs, Devils won their conference, and the Jets blow - hence the respective order.
