Vin+ 3,121 Posted October 1, 2012 Laurent Robinson has been diagnosed with a concussion, and is expected to miss Week 5. It's Robinson's third concussion since training, and second in two weeks. It's a major concern for the Jaguars, and could possibly lead to an extended absence. The Jags are on bye in Week 6, however, so it's possible Robinson will end up missing only one game. As it is, Robinson hasn't been a factor in the Jaguars' pop-gun "passing attack" when on the field, and is on pace for just 36 catches and 536 yards. He can be dropped in fantasy leagues. TDJacksonville 31 Posted October 1, 2012 3 concussions in a year. who does he think he is? Austin Collie? dude should go on IR this year since we aint going to the playoffs. no need to give him a chance to get another concussion.
Guest Phailadelphia Posted October 1, 2012 Robinson out with injury issues? Shocker. There was a reason Dallas didn't want to pay him as much as Jacksonville did.
BC 331 Posted October 1, 2012 He gets cut this offseason and resigns with Dallas.
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted October 6, 2012 Another classic Jags WR Free Agent signing. GM Gene Smith, "Forward."
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted October 6, 2012 If this surprises anyone, you were just fooling yourself. Secondly... Three concussions since training camp? That's what, like 2... 2.5 months? That is bad. Very bad. Apologies for stating the obvious, but he really needs to put his life and career in perspective here. I am unaware of his concussion history prior to this season, but he might have to rearrange his priorities.
CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted October 6, 2012 They lost another big FA signing this year too Clint Session to the same thing. Except his concussions are all from last year and he still hasn't played and likely won't ever play again. Jags screwed themselves big time with these two signings. Although they have the most cap room in the league, and it all carries over so per PFT they have like 148 mill as a cap instead of 120 like most teams. This will only increase next year because again, they have the most cap room in the league this year too. With the 5th richest owner. Dump Gene Smith, Decide if you want to dump Mularkey too, and get someone in here who can actually draft right, patch up the holes with FAs.
That Dude 3 Posted October 21, 2012 amazing how "lucky" this team is
Bucman 891 Posted October 21, 2012 Well this is shocking...not. Pretty much knew when the Jaguars signed him he wouldn't last a whole year. Hopefully they can cut him and not take too much of a hit.
Mathias 394 Posted October 21, 2012 I'd take him back and hope he gets past the concussion issues. Ogletree sucks again. He got benched late in the game, too.
