Wasn't a huge fan of that first one, but I loved Sea Legs. Their voices sound like...knockoff Jay-Z and Mike Shinoda, but I like it, haha.

I found the bonus tracks and put them together with the album, properly tagged and shit:

I know it's not for everyone, but I'm a big fan of this dude. A lot of folks can't get past his voice and look, but the lyrics and vibe are great imo.

So for anyone who isn't yet into Chance the Rapper... I highly recommend him. Acid Raps is gold, and 10 Days is right up there.

Yeah I definitely like the honesty in his lyrics, but I can only take so much of Chance.

I like this song a lot though:

On Valentines day De La Soul put up their entire music catalog up for free download. Thought that was pretty cool, here's one of my old favorites of theirs over a Dilla beat.

Oh man, I loved this song back in the day. I think that album was my first parental advisory CD

I always liked D Block's diss track over it:

Speaking of Chance... He's coming to Ann Arbor. And I'll be there. :D

^yeah I've been up on them for a bit

These kids outta Harlem are interesting. The producer plays every beat live even when they record a song to put out.

I don't listen to a lot of post-2000 hip hop, but recently I've been listening back through Odd Future's albums, mostly Tyler the Creator stuff and Mellowhype's Blackenedwhite album.
