Vin+ 3,121 Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) Cardinals agreed to terms with K Dan Carpenter on a one-year contract. Carpenter was released by the Dolphins last week in favor of the younger, cheaper Caleb Sturgis. Now he'll try to beat out veteran Jay Feely. Feely has been strong over the last three years, going 68-of-79 (86.0 percent) on field goals. That includes a 5-of-7 mark from 50+ yards out. Feely did miss a 30-yard attempt in the last preseason game, which coach Bruce Arians deemed "unacceptable." Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter Signing the guy who caused Feely to get cut from the Dolphins. That's cold-blooded. .AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted August 22, 2013 So Feely misses one kick(pre-season, no less) and needs to be replaced?
BroadcastinMayne 2 Posted August 26, 2013 Signing the guy who caused Feely to get cut from the Dolphins. That's cold-blooded. Huh!! Thats what i said, straight cold blooded. Then Carpenter gets he's one and only field goal blocked then would be let go. The whole situation is just kind of screwed up from what we get to see, obviously we dont know what exactley happens between players and coaches but again the whole kicking situation for AZ this week has been STRAAAAANGE!
