Greatest Actor Tournament Qualifier #1

So the nominating for our Greatest Actor Tournament is complete. I have tallied the votes, and all together we had 170 participants. Even though I definitely want a large and inclusive tournament, I feel like we do need to slim it down some.

With that said, we are going to have a number of qualifier polls. Any nominee that got at least two votes (90 in total) has been sorted and seeded. They are officially safe and will be moving on to the full tournament to claim the title of TGP's Greatest Actor.

Those nominees that failed to get at least two votes (80 in total) are going to be thrown into the qualifier polls. If they beat an opponent in the qualifier, they will receive another single vote, giving them two and official entry into the tournament. Which means we will begin the full tournament with 130 participants when all is said and done.

Just because these actors only got one vote, doesn't mean they will be easy or boring matchups though. You can make an argument for most, if not all of these actors to carry on. They are going to be paired up simply in twos by earliest mention outside of a few examples as a few got mixed up as I was shuffling around the seeded and non-seeded participants. Kinda sucks, and definitely not the fairest, but if you have a problem... Well, you should have voted for them in the nomination thread and they wouldn't be in the qualifier to begin with.

Also, a couple side notes about the voting if it wasn't obvious.

1) This process is not double elimination like the official tournament. Losers of these matchups are eliminated.
2) The videos I post are going to simply be small samples of the actors work (unless you are Rita Hayworth, sorry). If you want to accurately judge, you may need to look things up on your own. Otherwise, just vote blindly. Whatever you want, really. lol

I thought it was pretty good. And hilarious, although.. Not sure if it was supposed to be. One of both of their better works, IMO (Liam Neeson as well).
