Peyton Denies HGH Allegations

Recommended Posts

Rest of the letter's pretty badass. Basically says Goodell and the league are violating the deal they negotiated by trying to take this action.

Ya, it's all pretty much bullshit. What happens, happens though... NFL players are very poorly represented, have been for a while. The NFLPA is a massive sham, ha. Thank God Nick Perry started looking improved last season, and Jayrone Elliot is ready to shine... Not as good as Clay and Julius, but if Dictator Goodell wants to make a statement, so be it.

The NFL will question James Harrison about Al-Jazeera's steroid report on Thursday morning.

The sides are meeting at the Steelers' team facility. The meeting figures to be perfunctory and rife with lawyers. With Al-Jazeera's star witness having gotten cold feet, the league's inquiry is unlikely to go anywhere.

A source close to the situation said Packers linebackers Clay Matthews andJulius Peppers, whose interviews were Wednesday in Green Bay, and Steelers linebacker James Harrison, whose interview was Thursday in Pittsburgh, remain annoyed that they had to submit to the interviews but were not confronted with any new evidence or allegations during their interviews.

There's a part of me that wonders if he knew this was going to be the result from the beginning. It does make a lot of sense because now the NFL has something they can point to as they say "meeting with the Commissioner can make all of this go away."
