Trump Regime thread.

Recommended Posts

So when our political system consists of two major parties, that means both are corrupt right? That's what I said, and apparently Bloots got his panties in a bunch.

Jesus Christ there is literally nothing you won't "both sides"

I'll stop when it isn't true. Edited by Omerta

No, it isn't. The answer to corruption is not on the left, nor the right. It can't be found in a partisan government system like we have. As long as both can make money off divisiveness and suffering, the corruption in neither will change

Yes. On a day where the campaign manager for the republican president was found guilty of 8 crimes (with more to come) and the former financial head of the Republican Party plead guilty to crimes and said he committed said crimes with the aforementioned republican president, and a republican member of congress was indicted by the FBI, being the second republican congressman indicted in the last two weeks, both sides are clearly equivalent.

You know Donna Brazille confirmed the leaked emails basically right? You know that the DNC said in open court in a lawsuit against them in Florida that they have the right to rig the primary if they want to. This is all fucking horrible no doubt but honestly a lot of it is business as usual. That has to change.

Sean pretty much nailed it.

Then yes they are equivalent because if the DNC hadn't rigged an election for the cunt everyone hated instead of the guy who resonated. Now we are still stuck with a shit show when we could have at least had a decent president follow a decent president.

No the DNC is so fucking corrupt we have a reality show president who is a useless waste of space. Tell me more about how your party is better. Jesus Christ, how do you not see this? It is almost unbelievable people think one is better than the other, when one created the other. It's fucking incredible.

It's also a safe bet that this stuff doesn't just happen in a presidential election. I will say this for blots though, who made the ruling on citizens United?

It came in in 2010 right ? I am all for the bills like keep our elections honest act, government by the people act, and all of those.

And while it is a fucked up thing, it's not like Democrats have a hard time raising money. So it really just means more corporations can buy their respective shit dejour to regurgitate on the American people. Which is exactly what I am saying.

Had the Democrats not been crooked and fixed the DNC candidacy all this shit in the past 2 years would be moot. We would have a crazy socialist who is terrible for me, but is way better as a whole than the fucking disgrace what we have now.

So yes the Republicans are so god damn stupid it is baffling they can dress themselves and they are corrupt, but had there not been so many SJW pussies " been with her" and listened to the Democratic constituency of the country Trump would have been another carnival in the annuls of history, but here we are. Neither party can point the finger, which is why we need to blow the two party system up.

The Republicans didn't want Trump but they whipped people up in this hate filled hysteria for years under Obama. They gave legitimacy to his birther claims. Once Trump actually ran in hindsight we should have seen that they wouldn't be able to stop him. The Democrats between Hillary owning the Party while running and the whole super delegates system nominated probably the only candidate that could have lost to Donald Trump.

As for the whole Russian interference angle, it's bullshit. We're constantly trying to hack each other it's well known that we have interfered in their elections in the past. The real scandal is that Trump has pretty openly put influence to the presidency up to the highest bidder. This was always the inevitable outcome of the corrupt system we have that elects our representatives. In reality both parties take advantage of this.

Thats what I dont understand... there are real things there that Trump could be taken down on. And even though some people take issue with those things, nobody really wants to take him down for those things they want to nail him to Russia. Thats the mountain they will die on. They are really looking for Trump to perjure himself in some way in the Russia topic.

Reminds me a lot of Bill Clintons tenure. They had so much shit on him... rape, shady realty dealings.... but the hole they wanted to bury him in was Monica so they aggressively went after her... get Bill to perjure himself DURING a deposition for the Paula Jones case...

Just ... smh

Yeah they have the guy who ran his books. If they don't nail him you can be sure it's because they don't want to stop the gravy train for themselves. That's why they vote to give a man who they're screaming has committed treason an increase in his military budget by 60 billion. If there was really a belief Trump was committing treason and was a foreign agent the government would shut down before it approved ANY millitary budget. At least you would think that it would.

That increase alone could have paid for a lot of social programs Dems supposedly support but instead some of them approve a millitary budget increase. This is business as usual. Trump and his people are fucking buffoons though lol. Hell, some Dems voted his economic budget and confirmed his supreme court nominations.

Yes, this. it is amazing to me how supposedly there's this preponderance of evidence that is linking him to a crime like treason, and yet no charges have been filed, no motions for impeachment, nothing but empty tweets.

Meanwhile it's almost certain you could get him on drug charges, it's almost certain you could get him on racketeering, it's almost certain you could get him on money laundering, and it's almost certain you can get him on 10 different crimes, especially some of those he committed before he was president. Some of those, the statue of limitations has not ran out on, so he can still be prosecuted for those.

No, we are more intent I'm getting Payback then we are on getting this buffoon out of office. I can't stand Donald Trump, and I can't stand the things he stands for, in the way he is fascistically screwed Union. I can't stand how he does business come I can't stand how he operates, and I can't stand how he talks.

yeah we have a congress full of pussy Democrats who aren't going to do anything about it, because they don't have enough nuts to actually prosecute him on something. it's either that, or they're making money off of what he's doing which kind of makes them complicit in these things. It just baffles me how they play the high and mighty card, because it's their own stupidity that got him elected. It's one of those things I can't stand the outcome, but just say that it isn't a deserved outcome would be outrageous in my opinion.

Also, I think this Russian situation is severely detracting from our foreign policy at the moment. If people are paying attention, they would probably realize that whatever manafort's about to say, and whatever Mueller's about to say is probably going to pale in comparison to the things were going to start doing overseas in a couple of years. You have an attorney, who probably can't divulge a bunch of information without going to jail himself, and if you're offered immunity attorney-client privilege could probably be an ethical barrier to that. Not to mention, that all of the evidence can be considered fruit of the poisonous tree. Metaphor you might be able to get on money laundering but he's going to do what 6 months in a white collar prison, then he's going to come back out to his millions. It doesn't really seem like a lot of incentive to make a political enemy the size of trump.

really I say all that to say I really don't think anything major is going to come out of these two as it pertains to Trump. Those two men might get a slap on the pp, but that's not really going to change how politics is done in this country.

that being said it's an awfully clever diversion, to what's going on overseas which could foreseeably change the economy for the next 10-15 years depending on what we go to war 4, and where we do it. I don't think Russia and China options, but I could see a place like Syria where we could to stabilize the government take over the oil output of that country. When you consider their proximity to Saudi Arabia, we would have an even larger presents over there, and considerably more influence on organizations like OPEC. When you look at with all these billionaires can make off of something like that, are you really telling me right now that manafort is the biggest issue we have.

the fact that Democrats are bringing up such uses crap, while they neglect their jobs, and the fact that Republicans are sitting here trying to load a man that's obviously a crook comment is working his way up to full fledge war criminal doesn't inspire a hell of a lot of confidence in either side. We definitely need some change, and I would absolutely love to see the Democratic party collapse, in the Republican Party collapse, because out of the seven hundred of those people there might be three or four good people among both party lines.

Republicans haven't learned yet that most people are smarter than they are, and we're no longer buying their b******* and that the only reason they get votes is because nobody wants to vote for Democrats. Democrats haven't figured out that you can't tell half the country that they're part of a problem, just like Hillary Clinton when in reality it's all the old white money and Congress that is what's really been killing his country for the last five decades. Her, and everybody have her tilt or complicit in that, so they are actually the problems. But nobody wants to hear that. There with her.

Let me ask this question to Ngata and JD. If given the choice between the political agenda deemed Democratic socialism and a continuation of the status quoe with the GOP, what would you choose?

The choice is Nationalize healthcare or continue to support the agenda of the people who have bought the system? That could be your choice in 2020. That could be your choice for a senate or house seat.

Naaaaaahhh...that isn't the choice. The choice is extremely top heavy government taxing the shit out of you for inefficient social programs that marginally help. Versus, a small government that allows upward mobility.....for minutia of society, and help a small part of people get more money than they need.

If those are my options I do what I did last time vote for the person I find the best, So Gary Johnson or Martin O malley in a coin toss. Gun to my head it's probably O'Malley.

Fair enough, I can respect that but think we've established a common thread here none the less. It would be interesting if people who described themselves as independent voted for 3rd parties instead of not voting or voting out of fear. Would love to get there.

It's because the russia stuff is the only thing republicans might be upset enough about to vote him out. They don't want to do an impeachment that ends with him being cleared.

Spoiler though: there is nothing trump could do besides supporting a progressive tax rate that would get republicans to turn on him.

Is the Russia stuff really going to piss them off? Trump is almost certainly not the only member of the GOP that has Russian money in his campaign coffer.

Think about how much China, Israel, Saudi Arabia etc spend in US elections. Think about how much being in favor with the US economically is worth.

Of course not. Multiple other republicans are clearly on Russia's payroll. Nunes, Roarbacher, and Rand Paul are the most obvious, but I'm sure there are others.

Hell, the NRA is basically a way to connect Russian money to politicians and we know which party they favor.

Third parties have the same problem, we have like 2 viable candidate IF you come Rand Paul who is a douche Imo. So who do we vote for that has a real chance Jill Stein...not likely, but hey she is a woman.

Another politician that's incredibly obviously paid by Russia.

Is Noam Chomsky also paid by Russia? Is anyone who disagrees with this narrative paid by Russia? That's what it seems like to me. What's the end game here? Where does this end up?

Realize that we live in a two party system and one of the parties is a puppet government for a foreign adversary so vote for the one that at the bare minimum is going to be working on America's behalf?

And if you don't believe they will because they rig their own elections. How can I trust a party who doesn't itself listen to their own people, much less someone who isn't a party member.

When they show me they aren't corrupt as well, I can vote for them in good conscience. Right now O don't trust them.
