Eh, I thought they were doing what they did last year with that one game featuring the champs was on the night before.

Thank you, Sarge, for being sensible enough to realize that the Twins will repeat. No way in Hell the ChiSox take the AL Central.

AL East

1. Red Sox

2. Yankees (WC)

3. Rays

4. Blue Jays

5. Orioles

Red Sox are the best team in baseball on paper, and if they avoid injuries this year, they'll be on top of the East again. The Yankees may have starting pitching issues, but their lineup will put them in the playoffs. As for the Rays, as much as I want to see them fall to 4th or worse, their pitching will prevent that from happening.

AL Central

1. Twins

2. White Sox

3. Tigers

4. Royals

5. Indians

Gonna be another close race at the top, but I just can't see the Twins losing in the end. This could easily come down to who makes a bigger move at the trade deadline.

AL West

1. Rangers

2. Athletics

3. Angels

4. Mariners

I really want to call the A's to win the division this year because I really like them, but I don't think they'll get it done. Texas is too good. They will be close, however. Book it.

NL East

1. Phillies

2. Braves (WC)

3. Marlins

4. Mets

5. Nationals

The Phillies are probably not going to dominate everybody this year because they'll have lineup issues, but I can't see them not winning the division with their starting pitching. Also, don't sleep on the Marlins. They have a lot of young talent and could be contenders if their bullpen improves.

NL Central

1. Reds

2. Cardinals

3. Brewers

4. Cubs

5. Astros

6. Pirates

There is a lot up in the air in this division, so I feel weird about making such a seemingly gutless prediction, though it is my gut that tells me the Brewers aren't quite there yet--even after acquiring Greinke--and the Cubs will still be the Cubs. The Machine will carry the Cardinals the best he can but it won't be enough. I really like the Reds; they're gritty and know what it takes to win.

NL West

1. Rockies

2. Giants

3. Dodgers

4. Padres

5. Diamondbacks

So here's my surprising division winner of the year. (Last year it was the Rangers winning the AL West, by the way.) This is slightly homerish, as I've always liked the Rockies, but I think that second half surge you saw from them last year will be a full dosage this year.

AL Cy Young: Justin Verlander

AL MVP: Adrian Gonzalez

NL Cy Young: Josh Johnson

NL MVP: Albert Pujols

Divisional Series

Well I think that the Chi Sox may be a very big surprise this season, they have been close the last two and acquiring Dunn and a few others they have not had a lot of hype on them this pre season

Mornea and Mauer will dominate the Central if they stay healthy. Their supporting cast is very underrated. MANY MANY hitters in that lineup with plenty of back up wham in the dugout.

The exact same thing can be said about the White Sox though, we got Quinten, Dunn and Konerko as a power bats with Pierre and Beckham in support I would say the depth is better with the ChiSox imo.

Im not just sayin this just because I hate the Cubs but there is no way the Cards finish 4th and you finish 3rd. With the preseason you hate it will be between you and the Stros for last place

I'll add my awards prediction too.

AL MVP- Miguel Cabrerra, He's hitting between Ordonez and VMart now. He could be even better than last year in which he had an MVP Caliber season.

NL MVP- Albert Pujols, I can't go against El Hombre in a contract year. I can't and I won't.

AL CY Young- David Price, He probably won't get the wins he did last year, but there's every reason to believe this guy can get even better which is scary to think about

NL Cy Young- Roy Halladay, The guy is a machine. He pitches the most innings, he makes the least amount of mistakes and he's as talented as anyone on top of all that. He's the best pitcher in baseball

AL Rookie of The Year- Michael Pineda, I like his chances because he's going to get his playing time but on a team with some talent in their line up to protect him and feed him

NL Rookie of The Year- Aroldis Chapman, This guy throws a fastball that averages 99mph? Christ

AL Comeback Player of The Year- Dustin Pedroia, If this guy is healthy this year he's going to lead the Red Sox and be a very productive player all year long.

NL Comeback Player of The Year- Aramis Ramirez, I just don't see him sucking as much as he did last year. I think he comes back in a big way

AL Manager of The Year- Jim Leyland, The Tigers are going to hit this year and hit very well. I think Leyland leads them back to the playoffs in a stacked AL and wins the award.

NL Manager of The Year- Charlie Manuel, maybe this is a homer pick, but the guy has totally turned the Phillies around since he's been here and didn't get a lot of credit for holding that team together last year and taking them to another division title and the leagues best record.

Well the Twins are not looking like the team they were. Tigers playing sloppy ball. So who else would win that divison? Right the Chi Sox.
