What's the most you've ever eaten in one sitting????

Holidays don't count....Anyways, I think the most I've ever eaten in one sitting was a whole medium pizza from Pizza Hut after a friend and I back in highschool smoked some hippie lettuce and got the MASSIVE munchies, lolz....

I'd say the biggest meal I've ever eaten was in France over last Spring Break. They stretch their meals out for a few hours, so you're able to eat more. Over a course of about two hours I ate: about two thirds of a loaf of sliced bread, a third of a piece of pate (the whole piece was the size of about a typical slice of cheese, only an inch or so thick), almost a whole cucumber, some other veggies, two bowls of soup, about 2 dozen slices of fresh sausages (salamis & such), a piece of steak, a side of mashed potatotes, a cheese platter, fresh chocolate mousse, 6-7 glasses of water, 2 1/2 glasses of wine, and a cup of coffee. Afterwards I walked about a half a mile to the hotel like a champ.

When I was younger and, strangely enough, lighter, I could down an entire large Papa Johns pizza on my own.

 

My first day in Romania in 2001, we sat down as a group at a farm and had a 5 hour 6 course meal. It was incredible.

Man my eating puts you guys to shame, you guys are talking about my regular meals here. My usual pizza order is a large for myself. I used to have trouble eating a full pound cheeseburger but now those plus fries will fill me 90% up. Biggest steak I've eaten was 38 oz, with fries, potatoes, salad, soup, bread, and of course desert. When cooking for myself I usually make two sirloins.

 

 

This right here is probably top ten biggest meal though;

I eat 16" (large size at most places) pizzas by myself on the reg. I don't like how they taste after you re-heat them so I just eat it all in one sitting.

There's a place back home that does all you can eat ribs on monday nights, one night my brother and I were taking advantage of this and the waitress came up to our table and said "they're running out of ribs so I went ahead and put in an order for another plate for each of you" I think we each had about 3 racks plus two sides and a salad, it might not have been the most I've ever eaten, but I take pride in the fact that we ate the place out of ribs, I thought we should have gotten it for free since they didn't hold up the 'all you can eat' label, but my parents were paying anyway

I totally agree. After walking around a city for a day in the heat, you get pretty damn hungry, plus the dinner is stretched out over 2 hours or so. I left and thought about what I ate and I couldn't believe that I'd eaten so much.

Has anyone ever watched the show Man vs Food (I think it's on the Travel Channel, but I'm not positive), where this dude travels around the country trying to eat huge meals at various restaurants????

 

He's eaten some crazy shit....I'm surprised he isn't fatter than he is....

I'll tell ya some of the weirdest things I've ever eaten,

 

In Costa Rica I ate a handful of live bugs that tasted just like peanut butter, they were delicious

 

In Africa I ate Mopani Worms ( about the size and look like a large caterpillar, taste was good but it was hard to get past the texture), Zebra(terrible), Oryx (one of my favorites, a lot like beef), Ostrich ( I wish they had it in the states, it tastes almost exactly like beef but it's not as bad for you.), warthog (extra delicious, a tender combo of pork and beef), Crocodile (really does taste like chicken).

For me it was probably on a cruise. They also draw out meals. You start with several bread rolls, then go to an appetizer which is usually a soup or salad. Then you move on to the main course, which are huge. A memorable one was the pork roast, a full slab of meat. After that, you a order a desert, which are also large. I usually eat so many rolls at the beginning, but I always go through the full meal because the food is SO good.

I had an ostrich burger once at a restaurant called Paschals in Syracuse. I agree. It was pretty damn good.
