Turry 755 Posted February 22, 2012 ESPN.com's Bill Williamson believes free agent QB Chad Henne "has to be considered one of the possibilities" to compete against Matt Cassel in Kansas City. The obvious connection is to new coordinator Brian Daboll, who ran the offense when Henne opened the 2011 season as the starter in Miami. Now that Daboll is bringing his offense to Kansas City, Henne makes more sense than fellow free agent Kyle Orton as a backup to or competition for Cassel. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted February 22, 2012 Title of the thread should be... "Chiefs bring in Henne to replace Cassel" Cassel will have the advantage of knowing the playbook, but that might be it.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted February 22, 2012 Ooh, it'll be weird to see Chad Henne in a chiefs uniform, but he does deserve a chance to shine.

You really think that lowly of Matt Cassel? No way in hell Henne comes in and beats him out.

AL_Royalty 489 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) Who is Bill Williamson, and why is he aloud to communicate with the outside world? If the Chiefs make this move... If this is their big plan for the great QB competition... I just... Luckily, it's just a musing by some whack ass dude named Bill. Tridentdawgpound 1,043 Posted February 22, 2012 Matt Cassel might be one of the worst starters in the league, but Chad Henne is one of the worst starters ever.
BoneKrusher+ 1,276 Posted February 23, 2012 Cassel will have the advantage of knowing the playbook, but that might be it. Henne would have the advantage IMO, he knows Brians offense. Cassel still trys to call plays the Pats ran.lol

AL_Royalty 489 Posted February 23, 2012 you got that right. lol i found the perfect site to help with all my Cassel hate. i fit right in. It's ALL Cassel hate. They could have a thread about whether Peanut butter or Jelly is more important to the PB+J, and it would turn into, "I bet Cassel hates PB+J. He's a tool of fail. lol." For realz.
