AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted March 19, 2012 Love that mock for the Bucs.
BC 331 Posted March 19, 2012 We are not taking a Guard that high at 12 we would have to trade back. David DeCastro isn't any ordinary guard, some people have him going even higher than 12. I think he's a perfect option for that pick. If we don't surround Matt Flynn with the perfect pieces to succeed, we will watch him struggle and could take a turn for the worse, ending up in shambles heading into next years' draft. I don't have a lot of confidence in our OL yet. It's gotten much better, but not to the point where an elite talent would be a wasted pick. Imagine DeCastro and Okung, a wall of doom, while Carpenter and Moffit can continue to grow on the right side. There are good guards in the 2nd round, but there are also good pass rushers in the 2nd round. We will be selecting a guard and OLB 1-2, the order is yet to be seen. My favorite option after acquiring Flynn, is David DeCastro. 1
Thanatos 2,847 Posted March 20, 2012 We're not going to take the 3rd best DE in the draft when the #1 DT is still out there, regardless of who you think that is.
oochymp 2,393 Posted March 20, 2012 I'd be surprised if we take a LB high, but then again after a run on olinemen right before and having already taken a DE in round one, Wagner might be the BPA that even remotely addresses a need, I don't know enough about the prospects at that point
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) If the Texans draft Alshon Jeffery over Michael Floyd and/or Kendall Wright, I'll shoot myself... Edited March 20, 2012 by FartWaffles
videofreak8 5 Posted March 20, 2012 Ya sure Richardson is gonna fall that far?
BC 331 Posted March 20, 2012 I think he should fall that far. I also think he's a better selection for a team like Cincy who has an extra first. It's really hard to find a RB that is good for more than 5 years, won't get hurt, can carry the full load, can pass block, can catch passes, and can score on any play. If you know for a fact that somebody can do that, then you take them in the top 10. If not, I think the value doesn't live up to a top 10 pick. I'm sure someone will snag him before Cincy. I actually have Cincy trading up to 13 to grab him, so he could actually fall farther just based on the certain teams that are selecting high this year. I can agree with Michael Flloyd over Alshon Jeffrey. I actually should have see that. Going to refine it a week or so before the draft.
