Shits gettin annoying. Wallace makes every safety in the league shit their pants. Antonio Brown is open because the safety is playing 50 yards deep so Wallace doesn't get loose, and he still manages to take tops off of defenses. Wallace opens midfield. Brown capitalizes. Bread and butter.

See how bad it gets? When I hear it, I want to strangle the idiot who says that.

Highly doubt Wallace is going to get that money from the Steelers. I think he'll play this season but after that....who knows where he'll be

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace has informed teammates that his plan is to show up this weekend and sign his restricted free agent tender. The speedster sat out training camp, with hopes of reaching a long-term extension. Two sources with knowledge of Wallace's plans confirmed the conversations.

While Wallace waited for a new deal, the Steelers inked his sidekick, Antonio Brown, to a five-year, $42.5 million extension. Assuming Wallace signs his tender, he'll earn $2.742 million in 2012.

Word has spread in the locker room that Wallace will show up. He will miss the third preseason game on Aug. 25 against the Buffalo Bills and might sit out the fourth, as well.

Wallace led the Steelers with 72 catches for 1,193 yards and eight touchdowns last year, but he'll have to learn a new offense under coordinator Todd Haley.

All along, teammates had been confident he would show up.

This is good news.

Per Rotoworld.com:

Unsigned restricted free agent Mike Wallace has arrived at Steelers camp.

He should sign his one-year, $2.742 million tender before the afternoon is through. While it's comforting to finally have confirmation that Wallace won't pull a Vincent Jackson and hold out into the regular season, he's going to be well behind the curve in new OC Todd Haley's offense. He could be limited to decoy duties for much of September. Aug 28 - 11:36 AM

Steelers signed restricted free agent Mike Wallace to a one-year, $2.742 million contract.

Wallace would "love" to sign a long-term deal to remain in Pittsburgh because "this is where I want to stay." Now that he has reported, the Steelers are expected to be open to rekindling contract talks. ESPN's Adam Schefter believes it will "continue to be a difficult deal to get done" because Wallace wants to beat Vincent Jackson's five-year, $55.5 million pact. The Steelers aren't going to let a young Pro Bowl receiver leave without compensation, which leaves the franchise tag as a possibility in 2013. Aug 28 - 4:30 PM

The Steelers don't wants to give Wallace 55 million after they just gave Antonio Brown 45 for doing much less in his career up to this point?

Don't get me wrong. I love Brown and this he is going to explode... But, that does seem a bit backwards.
