Vin+ 3,121 Posted November 22, 2012 Bucs placed WR Arrelious Benn (knee, shoulder) on injured reserve, ending his season. Benn was supposed to be the Bucs' No. 3 wideout behind Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams this season. It never happened. He couldn't get over the MCL sprain he sustained on the first day of training camp and ended up making his biggest contributions on special teams while Tiquan Underwood ran with the third receiver job. Benn will be in the final year of his rookie contract in 2013. He finishes the 2012 campaign with four catches for 26 yards in eight appearances. Milla4Prez63 678 Posted November 22, 2012 It sucks, but he is all but a bust at this point.
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted November 22, 2012 Yep, this solidifies it. Benn is a complete bust. I had high hopes for him. The kid has great size and is one hell of an athlete. I wish we traded him in the off-season when he was still worth something.
Bucman 891 Posted November 24, 2012 Kinda saw this coming from the day he was drafted. Time to move on from the 2nd round of that draft.
KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted November 24, 2012 Hes a good special teams player, I'll give him that.
Franchise 5 1 Posted November 24, 2012 Hopefully this means Chris Owusu will get a shot.
