ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted March 5, 2013 how the fuck is Cromartie gone?
RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 5, 2013 rzb, myself, cuda, vin, and Bay all gave him negs.
Bay 2,003 Posted March 5, 2013 I only negged him because he was already at -4 and I was like fuck it.
oochymp 2,393 Posted March 5, 2013 Cromartie being eliminated makes me scratch my head. He was one of the best corners in the league, I think he should be in the top-100 for sure. there have been a few headscratchers for me so far, I don't know why Kerrigan was removed in the last round, Cromartie should def be in the top 100, and say what you want about me being a Titans' fan, but I think Chris Johnson and Michael Roos should still be going
RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 5, 2013 Roos should be, I don't think Johnson would though. Some of our bigger upsets according to round 1 results include: Thomas DeCoud 89% thought he was a top 100 player Brandon Graham had 89% as well Michael Roos at 73% and Eli Manning at 67% were also noticeable on the flip side Trent Williams is safe after getting only 36% in the first round and Chris Long is safe after 44%
ATL_Predator+ 1,196 Posted March 5, 2013 DeCoud is a top 100 player in my heart.
Thanatos 2,847 Posted March 5, 2013 Okay, but all the other guys would be just in the top-100, I was expecting Cromartie to be top-50 at least.

RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 8, 2013 Final Elimination Topic is almost ready to go. Once it opens every player left in limbo will be reset to 0 saves. From there +3 will save a player, and -3 will remove a player. Once two players are removed, we will have our top 100. Thank you for getting the list this far. oochymp 2,393 Posted March 16, 2013 question about something that occurred to me on the rankings, if somebody were to pick a player they liked and constantly gave them 5 points it would be really easy to skew the rankings, particularly once we get past the group at the top where there's a pretty good consensus, it doesn't look like anyone's done that yet (though I'm not looking at the voting that closely) but do we have a mechanism to correct for that or should we just deal with it if it comes up? I imagine there would be a "correction" period when this is over where we look at the list as a whole and target specific players who we think are too high or too low. RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 17, 2013 I'll keep an eye on players who get through primarily on the work of one person. looking at users votes we can see trends form, and if there is something vastly different changing in a vote over time, I'll mark that player on the list for a correction period. Normally though, your vote should be changing like this: +5 P2 +4 P1 +3 P3 +2 P4 +1 P5 P1 moves on, next vote looks like: +5 P2 +4 P3 +3 P4 +2 P5 +1 P6 If there is something vastly different from that form, It'll be noticeable. My thought was really if P2 was a guy nobody else was listing, for example if I were to give David Stewart 5 points every round after 18 rounds he'd have 90 points, which would probably be enough to get ranked, with no points from anyone else and I could get him into the top 25 pretty easily even though I'm sure nobody would rank him that high
oochymp 2,393 Posted March 17, 2013 (edited) I'd like to voice my objection to Aldon Smith getting so much love. Did you guys notice what Smith did once Justin Smith was out of the lineup? Nothing. That is a talented front seven, no doubt, but Justin is the Smith who makes it all click, in my opinion. figured I'd respond to this here rather than derailing the voting thread the way I see it, 19.5 sacks is 19.5 sacks, add in 3 ffs and a pick and I think he's got the stats to justify putting him in, that said, I see I'm one of two people voting for him at this point so if that doesn't change I may reassess to avoid the very issue I mentioned above, I don't mean to say that I'm afraid to set a trend with my votes, but when it becomes clear that nobody's following that definitely gives pause, and I do have to admit that I haven't watched a lot of SF games Edited March 17, 2013 by oochymp
