BLUE 1,026 Posted June 23, 2013 Per Rotoworld.com: The Clippers have an agreement in principle for Doc Rivers that includes an unprotected 2015 first-round pick going to the Celtics, according to Yahoo! Sports.Rivers has agreed to a three-year, $21 million deal with the Clippers. The league will still has approve the deal, but it shouldn't be an issue as long as no players are involved. Boston losing Rivers means they'll join the Sixers, Nuggets and Grizzlies as the teams still looking for a coach. Lionel Hollins, Brian Shaw and Byron Scott are three high-profile candidates still on the market. As for the Clippers, getting Rivers should make Chris Paul a lock to remain in LA. Boston and the Clippers ranked 20th and 19th in pace last year, respectively, so there shouldn't be too much fantasy fallout from the coaching change. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted June 24, 2013 Apparently players and coaches can't be seen as being part of the same deal. This trade sucks for the Clippers if CP3 doesn't end up staying. Outside of a few guys, coaching is overrated. Lol at this being Rondo's team now.
