housemd 338 Posted August 29, 2013 Browns first-round OLB Barkevious Mingo (bruised lung) is not expected back until Week 2. Mingo had to be hospitalized after sustaining his injury against the Lions on Aug. 15. It's the kind of ailment that takes extended time to recovery from because he can't keep up with conditioning work. Mingo, the No. 6 overall pick, is slated to serve as a rotational rusher behind Paul Kruger and Jabaal Sheard this season.

NaTaS+ 958 Posted August 30, 2013 I'm ok with this. He wasn't going to start anyway, might as well let him heal a bit before putting the pads back on.

Vin+ 3,121 Posted September 11, 2013 Browns first-round OLB Barkevious Mingo (bruised lung) has been medically cleared for contact. Mingo is expected to practice this week and make his NFL debut against the Ravens Sunday. It's a boost to a front seven that turned in a dominating performance in Week 1, limiting Lamar Miller/Daniel Thomas to 17 yards on 18 carries and sacking Ryan Tannehill four times. Mingo will come off the bench behind Paul Kruger and Jabaal Sheard. Source: Ed Werder on Twitter
