housemd 338 Posted December 19, 2013 Peyton is the MVP. Woo hoo Jamaal Charles is my favorite to win the OPOTY award, he's pretty much unstoppable. Leading the Chiefs in rushing and receiving and ranked second in yards from scrimmage (behind Shady McCoy). This will be a close battle between Charles and Shady, imo. I'm giving a slight nod to Charles cause he's a bigger receiving threat.
GA_Eagle 595 Posted December 19, 2013 I think the scoring would swing it to Charles favor more than the receiving prowess. The difference in receiving stats outside of td's isn't enough by itself, imo.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted December 19, 2013 They might give it to Peyton if he ends up breaking the scoring record. In any case, after Jamaal destroyed the Raiders with 175 YAC and 4 TD's, he's a good bet to win it all, especially since Shady is a coward in the red zone. Bucman 891 Posted December 19, 2013 Manning could/should break the single passing TD record this week against the Texans. He probably wins MVP. Charles OPOTY.
AL_Royalty 489 Posted December 20, 2013 A third round pick who only got a shot because Larry Johnson inexplicably fell off the edge of the earth is now probably going to be the OPOTY. Oh, the sweet science of NFL scouting.

If he breaks the yards and TD record, itd be a case for winning both imo.
