KempBolt 498 Posted September 3, 2014 Brandon Weeden starts 6 games and ends up with a QB Rating of 90 or greater. Orakpo and Kerrigan combine for the highest sack total of any edge rush duo in the league. New York fields a bottom 5 offense in games 1-8, and a top 5 offense in weeks 9-16. Mark Sanchez starts at least two games and outperforms Nick Foles. :patriots: Kenbrell Thompkins leads the team in receiving yards and yards per reception. Geno Smith ends the year with the following stats or better: 63% completion, 7.5 YPA, 2-1 TD/INT ratio. The Bills starting defensive line creates the most sacks of any 4-3 DL in the league. Miami fields a top 5 passing offense in 2014. Jordy Nelson leads the league in yards and touchdowns. The Bears defense allows 4.0 yards per carry or less to opposing rushing attacks on the season. Joique Bell leads the league in rushing touchdowns with at least 14. Kyle Rudolph finishes the year 2nd in receptions and yards among all tight ends. Markus Wheaton breaks 1,000 yards and 7 touchdowns. Baltimore fields a top 5 rushing attack. Carlos Dunlap has at least 12 sacks over the course of the season. .AirMcNair. 1,232 Posted September 3, 2014 The Bills starting defensive line creates the most sacks of any 4-3 DL in the league. Didn't they do that last year?
KempBolt 498 Posted September 3, 2014 Didn't they do that last year? Oh whoops. Maybe… I confess some of those weren't so inspired. That's the nature of it when you decide to come up with one for each team. But if they did, I guess it's bold to say they do it two years running?
Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) -Ben starts consecutive 16 game seasons for the first time in his career. -Polamalu starts consecutive 16 game seasons for the second time in his career. -In the case that the above two don't hit, Ben/Polamalu start at least 28 games combined or I kill myself. -Steelers return to top 5 defense (The only times they've been out of the top 5 since 2000 have been 2013 - 13th, 2006 - 9th, 2003 - 9th). Last year was also the first time out of the top 10 since 1999 - 11th. -Ryan Shazier ends in talks for ROY. Perform better than anticipated on the back of a reinvigorated defense (Clowney/Cushing). 8-8-ish season. / :Patriots: Neither team plays in the AFCCG. Nick Foles comes crashing back down to Earth. Have a late-season push and look like the 3rd incarnation of the destined Giants groups in 2007 and 2011. Don't return to the Super Bowl, get bounced by Packers/Saints/Giants. Dutch 874 Posted September 6, 2014 (edited) Chris Johnson rushes for 1,300 yards; leads the AFC. Percy Harvin starts all 16 games. Make the wild card. Steve Smith gets over 1,000 yards and emerges as most productive Ravens receiver. Maurice Jones Drew rushes for 1,100 yards; Raiders make .500. Still have a top 5 defense despite the injuries. Miss the playoffs (Is that really bold?) Giovanni Bernard rushes and receives for 1,000 yards. Miss the playoffs. Win the Superbowl Edited September 6, 2014 by Dutch
