Rowling (nominated over the other books because it is the most literary of all of Rowling's HP novels, and the consistent political commentary is absolutely wonderful). A Game of Thrones, A Clash of Kings, A Storm of Swords, G.R.R.M Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Because Snape), J.K. Rowling The Shadow Rising, Robert Jordan Deadhouse Gates, Steven Erikson Homeland, R.A.
