Bangy 19 Posted August 27, 2014 (edited) Man, this thread's gotten a lot more activity than I thought it would so far. Let's keep it up! Campin, I had high hopes for Pochettino when he took over. So far looking good for you guys. He's managed to get your signings from last year to actually play decent. I really rate Eriksen. Quality player. We were outclassed yesterday. Liverpool controlled the first half pretty good but we lost focus for a few minutes and got punished. Next two goals were a combination of awful defending and keeping. Ah well, probably the toughest fixture of the season so not too fussed about getting the loss out of the way. Glen Johnson got hurt so something good came out of the game - oops, did I say that? Not so fast my friend, I know you now have Mario Balotelli now but you have to stop the Erik, Eric and Eriksen combination on Sunday. Sad to see Michael Dawson go as a few years ago he was a potential England center back but injuries got the better of him. Chery he will be a good defender for Hull especially as James Chester (Hull's best defender) is out injured. Hull also have two ex Tottenham players who I rate in Jake Livermoore and Tom Huddlestone. Also WTF Manchester United, fans blamed ex manager David Moyes for their epic badness but it wasn't his fault. A long road ahead for them. CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted August 27, 2014 Should I be afraid, Campin? You a Hull fan? Then yes. Although he might not look as trash with lesser talent around him but it was a given each match he started he would do something stupid to cost us a goal. He will have randomly good plays at times so he's not complete garbage, just day old chicken rotting in your kitchen trash before you take it out garbage.

housemd 338 Posted August 30, 2014 So Liverpool's UCL group is Real Madrid, Basel and Ludogorets. They should be second easily. The most interesting group to me is Bayern Munich, Manchester City, CSKA Moscow and Roma. Those two Bayern-City matchups should be magnificent. Also, has anyone seen how Ludogorets made it into the group stage?

BradyFan81 404 Posted August 30, 2014 That game was crazy. Chelsea is a freakin powerhouse but it's clear after watching Everton's last 2 games they have a ton of quality as well. Kind of worried they might challenge for a top 4 spot. And Man United still sucks, I love it!

BJORN 679 Posted August 30, 2014 http://www.goalopedia.com/goals/283 What a goal, practically box to box. 5 hole.
Bangy 19 Posted August 31, 2014 5 hole is not a term used in soccer. Between the legs is called a nutmeg Bjorn. So a massive game for Spurs today, last season's top four went very badly for us we conceded 31 and only scored 2. If Tottenham are real about making top 4 this year then this is a win we need. CampinWithaMissingPerson 2,025 Posted August 31, 2014 We lost 5-0, and 4-0 last time against y'all so 3-0 is progress at this point. See y'all in Anfield for that 2-0 L

Bangy 19 Posted September 2, 2014 Yea so much crazy happens on transfer deadline day, it is one of the reasons I love it. Some big moves happened though through out the day and Chery if you are following Hull now then be excited as for me of the smaller Premiership clubs they made the best moves. Hatem Ben Arfa is one hell of a playmaker and freekick specialist, he will along side Huddlestone run the tempo for Hull and is a great signing. Able Hernandez is an epic signing for Hull, he's a young guy with great movement and striking ability pairing him with Diame just behind him will give them a lot of fire power. Also Gaston Ramirez shal be a good winger so long as he stay's fit. LOLARSENAL for paying 16 million for Danny Welbeck, he is not on the same level at Mario Balotelli and should not be valued as so. Mav tbh I expected you to beat us, Liverpool are a better team and we suck against top 4 teams.
Maverick 791 Posted September 2, 2014 I saw that Campin Falcao was certainly a flashy signing for United but he's not going to fix their problems. Liverpool got rid of some deadweight thankfully. Borini refused to leave Guess he'd rather rot in our reserves than play regular football Top 4 Chelsea Man City Liverpool Man United Arsenal Tottenham
Cherry 1,302 Posted September 2, 2014 Officially on the Hull wagon
BJORN 679 Posted September 2, 2014 English players are always a bit inflated transfer fee wise, though Welbeck is a hard worker and more importantly not a head case.
Bangy 19 Posted September 3, 2014 Even still there is no way on this earth that he is valued at the same amount as Mario Balotelli, love how he also took #23. The two players of epicfail that took that number in the past were Niklas Bendtner and Andry Arshavin.
Maverick 791 Posted September 3, 2014 Officially on the Hull wagon Hull had a decent window signing the likes of Ben Arfa and Diame. Well, they're good FUT players at least. >_>
