BigBen07 285 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) Haven't posted here in a while lol Jays with a HUGE win to start this 3 game home series vs. N.Y. Price went 7 strong shutout innings and got out of a big jam in the 3rd! He's been a great addition. 3.5 up now! Sarge+ 3,436 Posted September 23, 2015 Well, unless the Pirates sweep the Cardinals, we don't have much of a chance of winning the division now. We made a good effort to try though. Looks like it's gonna be Cubs @ Pirates for the NL play-in game.

BigBen07 285 Posted September 26, 2015 PLAYOFF BOUND! Been WAY too long! Final position and opponent is not set in stone yet, but the win today puts the Jays one step closer to the AL East title!
BigBen07 285 Posted September 27, 2015 SWEEP OF THE RAYS! Josh is the hero in the 9th! Lead stays at 4 over the Yankees, and we continue the hunt for HFA in the AL. 7 to go, all on the road.
Dr. Death 12 Posted September 29, 2015 Looking at the NL Central, I feel bad for the Pirates and Cubs. Those 2 could easily be first place in any other division.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted September 29, 2015 Looking at the NL Central, I feel bad for the Pirates and Cubs. Those 2 could easily be first place in any other division. You should feel bad for the Cardinals. We are going to be a 100 game winner and we aren't going to clinch the division (if we even do) until the very very tail end of the year. Insane. lol
Dr. Death 12 Posted September 29, 2015 Cardinals mathematically don't have the division clinched. But lets be honest, they won the division. Pirates and Cubs are going to be playing in a 1 game eliminator match-up when they deserve to be playing a series.

BigBen07 285 Posted September 29, 2015 Well after last night's come from behind win over Baltimore, and the Yankees loss to the Red Sox, the Blue Jays can clinch the AL East tonight with a win and another Yankees loss! Marcus Stroman pitches tonight. Guy has been a machine since he came back.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted September 29, 2015 Cards / Pirates game postponed for a DH tomorrow. Lame. If we win Game 1 of the DH, are we just gonna celebrate the division title right there and then play another game? lol. Again... Lame.

oochymp 2,393 Posted October 1, 2015 Move Over Drake, Taylor Swift's Bad Blood Is The Latest Sports Curse On July 27, the Astros changed Swift's scheduled concert date from Oct. 13 to Sept. 9, in case the team had a home playoff game. At the time, Houston was 55-45 and held the first wild-card spot. By the night of her rescheduled show at Minute Maid Park, the Astros led the AL West by two games over the Rangers. Things were looking pretty good for the Astros. But not anymore. Houston has turned in a lackluster 7-11 record since her concert -- including losing seven of the eight games immediately after -- and would not make the playoffs if the postseason started today. ... During the Nationals game in July, just days after two nights of "1989," the lights went out at Nationals Park and play was suspended. On Twitter, Max Scherzer jokingly blamed Swift for the mishap. He's probably regretting that now. At the time, the Nats were leading the NL East, and since then the team has had an epic collapse -- compiling a 32-38 record and being eliminated from the postseason. If that's not enough proof for you, the eliminated Padres have gone 11-17 since Swift's Aug. 29 performance at Petco Park. And her 2015 season curse might not be over just yet. Swift will be performing at the Rogers Centre in Toronto this weekend. I'm glad we have something to blame the Nats' collapse on, it'll be really weird if the Bluejays go out in the first round of the playoffs

BwareDWare94 723 Posted October 4, 2015 You know, us Twins fans could not have asked for more from this team, but it's still downright pathetic to be 1 game back with their Final series at home, and then to get held to 1 run apiece in consecutive games. Brian Dozier was so bad after the all-star game. If the dude wasn't an established player who the Twins marketed in order to bring people to the stands, he'd have been sent down to the minors. It was like he all of a sudden couldn't hit the bleeping ball. Aaron Hicks was a nice surprise in the second half of the season. You add him in with fantastic rookies like Eddie Rosario and Miguel Sano, it's hard not to think next season will be a lot of fun.
oochymp 2,393 Posted October 4, 2015 Scherzer with his second no-no of the season, sure has no impact on the standings, but it's still nice to get one more fuck you in to the Mets
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted October 4, 2015 Struck out 17 as well. First guy to throw two no-no's in a season since Halladay in 2010. Although it should be noted one of Halladay's was in the playoffs.
oochymp 2,393 Posted October 5, 2015 (edited) at least this season should be enough to get Williams canned Washington Nationals fire manager Matt Williams first manager to be fired a year after winning the Manager of the Year Award Edited October 5, 2015 by oochymp
