People who seriously voted for Trump based on nothing but liberals pissing them off should have their voting rights revoked. I mean, if someone you really dislike dislikes the guy, and so you do some research and discover that you like him, then that's fair.

 

Vote for the man because of what he is and what he's done, not out of spite because someone else hates or loves them. You're a fucking idiot if you vote for someone to be President of the USA and leader of the free world because Johnny Liberal has his panties in a twist over what that guy says.

 

I have a lot more respect for someone who says they voted for Trump because they agree with him than someone who voted for him just to piss people off. Anyone who did that can go fuck themselves. A vote for President should be thoroughly researched, simply going into a booth and voting isn't doing your civic duty and frankly I'd rather people who didn't know much about the candidates not to vote at all.

Edit to go into detail more: Bernie was so incredibly respectful of Hillary that I thought it was a detriment to his campaign. The way he treated her showed to me he cared more about doing whats right for america than just winning. For her to say something like this is disgusting. I voted for her, and don't regret it, but my god what an unlikable person.

I said IF people did it for that reason, sean. It's not an oversimplification of anything. If you don't fit the description, then its not talking about you. You shouldn't have a vote if you can't even put in the time and energy to actually do some fucking research before you use it. Mostly wishful thinking, obviously, would never pass muster nor would I actually want it to because of political people enforcing it.

I think the sad part of all of this is there was not a single candidate I liked. Like, even a little bit. I could not get over how bad our choices were. WASHINGTON (AP) — The top House and Senate Democrats have announced agreement with President Donald Trump to protect certain immigrants brought illegally to this country as children - along with some border security enhancements.

The agreement would specifically not include Trump's long-sought border wall. It would enshrine protections for the nearly 800,000 immigrants who benefited from a program created by former President Barack Obama that Trump has announced he is ending.

The agreement was announced in a joint statement from House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi of California and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, following a dinner the pair had with Trump at the White House.

It marks the second time in two weeks that Trump has bypassed Republicans to deal with Pelosi and Schumer.
