RazorStar 4,025 Posted May 29, 2017 (edited) Might as well keep this topic train a going, and we've got a very interesting division to look at. I see this division as a three horse race right now, but I like what the Browns have done in their past two drafts and there are quickly getting into a position to compete with the rest of the powerhouses in their division. Baltimore went for bulk and power in the draft building around defense and pounding the rock, while Pittsburgh opted to build up the pass rush and their offense. Lastly the Bengals still have strong playmakers for Red Rifle to throw to, and Geno Atkins is a beast in the centre of the defense. Who wins the AFC North this year? Sarge+ 3,436 Posted May 29, 2017 I honestly see us taking it again. Our defense got better as the season progressed last year, and we added to it in the draft. As long as Ben is healthy we are going to put up points. Baltimore always has the ability to be tough, I think their re-load might work out well for them this time around. Bengals... I dunno. I think their window is closing, or maybe it already has, slightly. Browns aren't a threat yet.
Omerta+ 1,206 Posted May 29, 2017 I think the Steelers will probably win it, with a huge caveat. If 2 of the 3 hype pieces actually happen to the Ravens we will will. The first is that Greg Roman resurrects our running game. If this happens play action will be there and Wallace will thrive as well as the bevy of TE's we have who can eat over the middle. The second is that Breshad Perriman is starting to look very very dangerous. If that happens our offense will be balanced and that is going to be enough to win a few more games than last year. The thirs and most likely is our defense is looking brutal. One of the reporters who covers the AFCN said that if an average starting linebacker emerges next to Mosley and our defense is healthy we could have another legendary defense maybe not greatest of all time category but like a LOB when the hawks won, or a Broncos defense 2 years ago. If 2 of those things happen we will win. That said I voted steelers because their offense is tops in the league imo, their defense is not great but good enough to win when the offense puts up 30+ and we probably have the shittiest coaching staff in the AFCN who will find a way to fuck up a good roster. BJORN 679 Posted May 30, 2017 (edited) Bengals rebound and make it close with the big two. Steelers are still the safe pick with Big Ben and co. I honestly see us taking it again. Baltimore always has the ability to be tough, I think their re-load might work out well for them this time around. Bengals... I dunno. Sarge+ 3,436 Posted May 31, 2017 You can feel the Browns approaching. Can't we all? Thanks for reminding me to buy toilet paper, especially after that Taco Bell I ate for lunch..

Barracuda 629 Posted July 1, 2017 This division is made up of three has-been teams and one never-been. It is time for new blood.
