As in one or maybe two positive yards? Yeah, but it's not like he is five yards before being touched. I mean that is great stuff, but still he wouldn't be topping 100yds if he wasn't creating alot of yards after contact

Are there any backs in this league who get gaping holes with lead blockers that keep them from being touched for up to 5 yards? I can't think of one except maybe Arian Foster or Jamaal Charles, and they have very specific systems in place that adhere to their styles. Murray is a pure, straight ahead runner. There's no way for him to avoid contact unless you want him to take chances at losing yards or only earning minimal gains. I understand your perspective, but respectfully disagree....

Dallas ran mostly zone against Seattle (again the only game I saw) in which you can run untouched because of the large cut-back lanes. Just admitting that Murray doesn't avoid alot of contact basically confirms what I'm saying about him creating most of the yards after contact.
