Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) My draft was terrible. That trade I made with Dmac was stupidity on my part, just wanted to trade down as the players I was targeting went right before me. I wasn't too high on Iupati and thought I would be able to snag Brown with the 2nd round pick from the Lions. Terrible on my part. Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted March 23, 2011 I think you're being too hard on yourself. Possibly as Best showed potential and Grant went down, but outside of Best and Saffold playing alright for the Rams my draft wasn't too good.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted March 23, 2011 Jets: C. Golden Tate and Corey Wootton are interesting prospects but it looks like Sargentina reached for them. Some interesting names through the rest of the draft but nothing is jumping out yet. An average draft for now, though I have a feeling Tate could explode in Seattle next year. Colts: A-. Again, I'm trying my best to be objective. Maurkice Pouncey, hit. Daryl Washington, hit. Rob Gronkowski, hit. Any time you nail your first three picks it's a good draft. I won't give this a solid A because there aren't any middle/late round steals that some other drafts had. Saints: B+. A lot of quality in the short amount of picks ATL had to work with. Despite an unpromising rookie season Kyle Wilson was good value at 32 overall. Jason Worilds is a very interesting prospect, Anthony Dixon would have been a great pick had he not quit football, and Cody Grimm was a starter with the Bucs this year. Packers: A-. Oh man, I really like this draft. Jahvid Best would do dirty things in that Packer offense, and Roger Saffold would be Rodgers' blindside tackle. Amari Spevey is a guy that could start but wouldn't need to right away with how deep Green Bay's secondary is. And as an Eagles fan, I can tell you that Kurt Coleman will be a starter as soon as this season. The only thing preventing me from calling this an A draft is that Packers Dynasty got anally violated by DMac on that trade with the Lions. Vikings: B. I like the first three picks in terms of value, especially Burnett. Safety might not be a need for Minnesota right now had they drafted him. I especially like how Vin was able to get Cincinnati's 1st round pick from next year. Imagine this in real life: what if the Vikings had the 4th and 12th overall pick? Bears: B-. It's going to be really hard to grade this draft as Chicago's first pick was in the third round. Looking at it altogether, it looks like Razor got good value with his picks and got at least one gem in Riley Cooper. In absolute terms, this is probably a C/C+ draft, but given that I want to evaluate GMs based on what they had to work with, I thought Raz did a good job. RazorStar 4,025 Posted March 23, 2011 I love what the Vikings did. Considering where the Bengals are picking this year, Vin killed this thing. Oh and the players he picked up weren't too bad either. Colts got great value early, and I did the best I could with my disadvantageous position.
