AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted May 22, 2011 I'd rather have a strong passing game. Just spreads out the field so much more and having a good passing game can open up the running game. You also need a good passing game when you are down and need points quick.

seanbrock 1,684 Posted May 22, 2011 that depends. what's my defense like and what's my QB like in the running offense?
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted May 22, 2011 (edited) As much as I prefer running the ball... A strong passing game in today's game will get you further then a strong running game. Edited May 22, 2011 by DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F
Barracuda 629 Posted May 22, 2011 Passing Game. (Colts, Saints, Patriots, Packers) Hmm...in the past decade that's what- 7 Superbowl rings between those 4 teams...
Shotgun 442 Posted May 23, 2011 Strong passing game. In the past I would say running game but things have changed so much now you can win with a relatively mediocre running game as long as you have strong passing, but it doesn't work so much the other way around. You need to have a pretty dominant defense to make up for a mediocre passing game.
RANGA+ 1,210 Posted May 23, 2011 10 years ago I would have said strong running game...but this a passing league now. Without a solid QB and a good vertical attack, your team isn't going anywhere.
