Overrated: Very tricky to name one and there are counter arguments for nearly every single player, but I will go with Yu Darvish. He is big shit just because of his name and the hype that was advertised. His ERA is actually respectable though, but he isn't godsend like some delusional Rangers fans believe.

Underrated: Chris Sale. This was a hard topic, because you can look at it by votes, by the respect they get from the average fan, or overall talent that doesn't get enough credit, etc. He's the top dog as far as first half pitchers, but won't start the game and hasn't been good long enough to have his dick sucked as much as it should around the nation.

I'll throw you guys a tough one, because I'm interested to see what an avid fan can come up with. 2nd Basemen.

I don't agree with this at all. He's on pace to strike out 220+ and win 20 games. His ERA isn't terrible, but for a guy switching country leagues he's doing phenomenal.

But, I do agree with Chris Sale. He's doing wonders for my fantasy team ^_^

Overrated: I guess the easy answer would be Heath Bell... lol. Jose Valverde too, he got lucky last year :yep:

Underrated: Joel Hanrahan? Still don't think he gets enough credit. Possibly Kimbrel too. Both are pretty lights out.

Overrated: Angels (Jered Weaver is a demigod and you can't complain about CJ Wilson as your #2, but there's a drop off after that. Hanson can't stay healthy and will allow more stolen bases than any pitcher ever, then Joe Blanton and Jason Vargas? lol)

Underrated: Athletics (all rookies during the playoffs last year and they'll only get better as time goes on. Watch for Jarrod Parker to distance himself as the ace of the staff and a possible All-Star in 2013)

Next up: Free agent signings from the past offseason.
