AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted September 12, 2011 St. Louis Rams head coach Steve Spagnuolo confirmed that running back Steven Jackson has a strained quadriceps that will probably keep him out of next Sunday's gameagainst the New York Giants. During Sunday's 31-13 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Jackson had two carries for 56 yards, including a 47-yard touchdown run on the Rams' first offensive play of the season. Jackson was injured after a nine-yard gain on his second carry, giving way to Cadillac Williams. Source: Mac's Football Blog
KiLaSix9+ 398 Posted September 13, 2011 This is why I can't stand Steven Jackson. I know he can be a top 5 back. He showed it on Sunday. However, for all that talent he just cannot stay healthy. AT all. It sucks because it probably happened after the Rams completely worked him 2 seasons ago and every team in the NFL knew to just stack the box and blast Jackson on every play. Glanvilles Grits 142 Posted September 13, 2011 If the Rams had a guy that they could split time with Steven Jackson, the league would be in trouble. But they don't, and Jackson can't stay healthy.

BLUE 1,026 Posted September 14, 2011 Per Rotoworld.com: Cadillac Williams is expected to carry a full workload in Monday night's game against the Giants.Steven Jackson (quad) is likely to miss at least one game. Williams is 29 and running on bionic knees, but he has nice skills out of the backfield and is an asset in pass protection. Cadillac projects as an every-down back, with Jerious Norwood coming on for a change-of-pace role. The Rotoworld Season Pass currently ranks Caddy 30th among Week 2 running backs. He doesn't have a whole lot of upside, but 25 touches are well within reach. Sep 14 - 8:33 AM Source: ESPN.com
