WOO! Jays have taken the first three games of the series vs. the Royals!

Romero threw eight solid innings, and the Jays got some clutch hitting and baserunning, including a steal of home!

Let's go for the sweep tomorrow!!!

This lineup is the most embarassing thing I've ever seen on a baseball field.

Too bad Mike Tomlin can't manage the Pirates :(

Hurdle is actually a solid manager. The players just aren't hitting, unfortunately.

Neither are the Jays, at least not very well. But the major difference is that we're getting hits when it matters most of the time. Pirates need that type of hitting big time.

Phillies suck cock lol.

That's what happens when you let Kyle Kendrick pitch to Major League hitters.

Though for the record, I openly admit the suckage of our lineup. We're gonna be dwindling in mediocrity until it gets better.

LOL Mike Matheny pulling Jaime Garcia with 85 pitches through 7 2/3.. The result? Game blown by our closer.

Matheny has a little LaRussa on his shoulder telling him what to do.

Two nights in a row Cardinals go into the Cubs half of the 9th with the 2 - 1 lead and two nights in a row they lose the ball game.

Fuck this bullpen right now man.

Although, to be fair to the shitty bullpen... The ump missed a call at home early on that gave the Cubs their first and only run before the 9th... And then missed another call when Yadi threw down to 2nd to catch a guy stealing. Tag was applied but called incorrectly and he ended up being the tying run.

Sigh. So stupid.

First series we have lost all year. First series the Cubs have won.

Some pretty bad news for the Yankees’ young starter, who had an MRI yesterday:

Mark Feinsand@BloggingBombers

Pineda has a tear in his labrum. Arthroscopic surgery scheduled for next Tuesday

25 Apr 12 ReplyRetweetFavorite

Jon Heyman just tweeted that the tear is “pretty severe.”

The labrum — which is in the shoulder — is not a good injury for a pitcher to have. Indeed, Tommy John surgery can represent less of a long term risk to a pitcher than severe shoulder injuries can. His season is definitely over at the very least.

In the wake of a Jon Paul Morosi article assessing the Jesus Montero-Michael Pineda trade there was a lot of back and forth on Twitter this morning talking about just how premature such assessments were. I agree that, given how much control the Yankees have over Pineda — five years at this point — it is kind of crazy to declare a trade winner. But man, this is not the way anyone in New York wanted things to start out.

You won 1. We won 1. And then you "won" 1.

And here is your 2012 Cy Young....
