Best GFX, Most Improved, Best Poster, Funniest Poster, Worst Poster, Biggest Asshole, Best Mod, Best Fantasy Player, Post of the Year, Thread of the Year, etc. One year there were like 50 awards. Have a topic just for people to post quoted posts that they believe are worthy of the award for that month or week. Then you simply have us +1 the quote and the one with the most + wins the award. That's why I really like DMac's list. Short, sweet, and has a good balance to it. I just don't see much of a difference between "most valuable" and "biggest contributor." Seems to me the biggest contributor to TGP would be its most valuable member. It's like MVP and Offensive Player of the Year, just because you put up the best numbers doesn't mean you're the most valuable. Though that assumes that contributor is talking about posts.
