JetsFan4Life 542 Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) I'll go ahead and post my playoff predictions now. First Round Heat in 4 - Yeah....I just hope Redick has a decent series shooting wise. Knicks in 7 - Should be the best first round series but Melo HAS to get out of the first round this year. He just has to. Pacers in 5 - Hawks always lose in the first round. Pacers should have no problem. Bulls in 5 - Don't think the Nets are all that great and I think the Bulls advance here fairly easily. Thunder in 5 - Harden against his former team is a fun story but that's about it. I think the Rockets steal one but can't see more than that. Spurs in 6 - I like this match-up for the Lakers but the only thing that holds me back is that it's Pop vs. D'Antoni. Can't see D'Antoni getting the better of him. Warriors in 6 - My big upset I guess. Nuggets are hurt and as long as the Warriors can steal one of the first two and shoot how they are capable of they can definitely win this series. Grizzlies in 7 - Memphis gets revenge for last year and outs LA in another seven game series. Second Round Heat over Bulls in 5 - Bulls split the season series but these are the playoffs. Bulls can get one though in Chicago. Pacers over Knicks in 6 - Knicks will be tired from a physical series with the Celtics and now have to play a very physical Pacers team. Melo isn't used to second round action and Indiana wins in six. Thunder over Grizzlies in 7 - Could be a fun series, remember when they played in 2011. Obviously different teams but I would look forward to this as my favorite second round match-up. I'll say seven, more out of hope than anything. Spurs over Warriors in 5 - I think the Spurs can shut Golden State down pretty well and end up winning this series fairly easily. Conference Finals Heat over Pacers in 6 - Pacers played the Heat well last year I see no reason why they can't do it again. I know there was no Bosh last year but still I see this going six but ultimately Miami is too good. Thunder over Spurs in 5 - The match-up everyone wants to see in the WCF but I think the Thunder handle the Spurs fairly easily NBA Finals Heat over Thunder in 6 - I see the Thunder pushing this series one game farther than last year....but ultimately we get the same result and the Heat repeat as NBA Champions. Guest Phailadelphia Posted April 18, 2013 My predictions... East: Miami in 4. New York in 5. Pacers in 7. (this will be by far the most boring series of the 1st round) Nets in 6. West: Thunder in 4. Spurs in 6. Nuggets in 7. (lol fuck going to Oracle) Grizzlies in 7.
housemd 338 Posted April 18, 2013 East Heat in 4 Celtics in 7 Pacers in 5 Bulls in 6 West Thunder in 4 Spurs in 5 Warriors in 7 Grizzlies in
BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) All Thunder in 4? All 8 West teams are better than teams 4-8 in the East. I don't foresee a single Western sweep. I think Houston goes down 4-1, so pretty much a sweep. Edited April 19, 2013 by BwareDWare94
Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted April 18, 2013 My dick's leaking at the idea of seeing the Thunder absolutely crush Harden.
RazorStar 4,025 Posted April 18, 2013 I don't watch basketball enough, but I'll make predictions too. Round 1: Heat in 5 (GASP) Knicks in 5 Pacers in 6 Bulls in 7 Thunder in 4 Spurs in 6 Warriors in 6 Grizzlies in 5 Round 2 (they just have the 1/8 winner play the 4/5 winner right? It's not the NHL highest lowest thing?) Heat in 5 Knicks in 5 Thunder in 5 Warriors in 7 Round 3 Heat in 6 Thunder in 7 NBA Finals Heat in

Yeah, that's correct.

Zack_of_Steel+ 3,014 Posted April 19, 2013 Thunder in 4 Grizzlies in 6 Lakers in 7 Warriors in 6 Miami in 4 Bulls in 5 Celtics in 6 Indiana in 6 Thunder in 6 Warriors in 5 Miami in 6 Indiana in 5 Thunder in 5 Indiana in 7 Thunder in 4 That's what I hope happens. Realistically, Miami takes Indiana in 6 or 7 and then defeats the Thunder in 7. Next year the Thunder mature further and finally overtake the Heat in the Finals. BwareDWare94 723 Posted April 19, 2013 Don't be ridiculous,Bware. I meant seeds 4-8, actually, and in that case I am right. OKC, SA, Denver, LAC, Memphis, GS, LAL, and Houston are ALL better than Brookyln, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, and Milwaukee. I know you're a Celtics fan but come on. You know I'm right. DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted April 19, 2013 I disagree with that. I'd take Brooklyn over the Lakers, GSW, and arguably Houston.

NY Diehard 26 Posted April 19, 2013 The Nets are easily a better team than the Rockets. Probably the Lakers too, but they're such a different team now and are probably better without Kobe.

Maverick 791 Posted April 20, 2013 I'll be rooting for the Celtics as usual. Task seems a lot tougher this year but we'll see!

Which is why Houston won both regular season matchups with Brooklyn by double digits. Brooklyn is not better than either Houston or LAL.

NY Diehard 26 Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Bullshit. Houston swept Brooklyn, winning by double digits each time. The Rockets are better than the Nets. The Celtics have dominated the Heat in the regular season since the formation of the Big Three. The Heat still sent them packing two years in a row, doing it convincingly the first time around and doing it without Bosh the majority of the series the second time around. It's meaningless.
