A few guys without orders yet and that's fine but I'd like to see if we can get this first turn done by tonight. May not be able to get an update until late tomorrow if not.

I got virus warnings from the links you just posted, Cuda. It got to the point where I actually had the program on my desktop and when I tried to open it my computer stopped me with a virus warning and informed me that I should remove it. I don't know how I'm supposed to play this without that file.

Tell your virus program it is not a virus. Some programs think a lot of executable files are viruses when they're not. Keygens are a great example.

Also, you don't need the program to play. Just follow along with the images Cuda posts. I won the first time we played after having never played before and without using jDip.

Spring 1901.

Spring, the season of new life and perhaps a new empire. Our 7 powers have been stagnant throughout the brutal winter but they are now ready to mobilize. Threats of war have already been exchanged between Germany and Austria they may no longer be threats by next year.

Razor the Sultan of Turkey

Trident Czar of Russia

Mathias Arch-Duke of Austria

VikingFan President of Italy

Zack_of_Steel Kaiser of Germany

Vin Prime Minister of France

and Seanbrock King of England

all want to take what they believe is rightfully theirs. Well most of them...

austrian.png

Arch-Duke Mathias seems to be the only one who wants to let fate decide what he receives. I have a hint for you: nothing. You'll be left out to dry if you hang onto that mentality.

italyfd.png

President VikingFan may be new to power but at least he used it. His army in Venice holds for the moment, feeling out his opponents. His second army in Rome moves to Tuscany. The President may be anticipating a push from the North. Lastly, his fleet in Naples moves South into the Ionian Sea to guarantee a Supply Center on the next turn. Not everyone wants to hold off on that however...

turkeyv.png

Razor the Sultan of Turkey wastes no time in claiming surrounding territories. His units move to the Northwest, taking Bulgaria for their own.

germanyb.png

Nor Zack the Kaiser of Germany holds Mathias' wait and see attitude. He took the threats of war seriously. His fleet in Kiel moves North to claim Denmark. His army in Berlin moves to Kiel hoping to claim yet another Supply Center next turn. His army in Munich moves South toward the outspoken Arch-Dukes home centers. Yet, the Arch Duke sees no reason to rush.

russiaf.png

Trident the Czar of Russia moves most of his power to the South. The Arch-Duke is being quickly surrounded. I have a feeling our other dictators won't show mercy. The Czar moves into Rumania claiming a Supply Center for himself. Hi other armies move South into Ukraine and Sevastapol. The Czars fleet in St. Petersburg sails out into the Gulf of Bothnia also hoping for more Supply Centers.

francew.png

Vin the Prime Minister of France may have made friends with everybody. He seems uninterested with everything else brewing abroad. For now. Vin's army in Marseilles moves to take the Supply Center in Spain. The Prime Ministers fleet in Brest rides the waves out into the Atlantic. Another Supply Center will be in reach next season. Perhaps not wanting to get to out of position he moves his other army into Brest.

englandk.png

Last but not least the divine King of England. Sean a powerful and occasionally mellow ruler moves his fleets Northeast, occupying both the North and Norwegian seas. His army in Liverpool moves into Yorkshire.

All moves considered:

And the end result:

Surprisingly, no conflict of interests this round. So keep talking and our next moves should be in by Wednesday night. Good job folks.

I feel like this will be a ton of fun until someone bitch slaps me out of Europe. Still, looking forward to how this progresses and will hopefully return next time.

I'm not Razor when it comes to this stuff but his narrative last game really added to it. I won't be able to come close to that but I'll certainly try. Hopefully you all still find it a bit interesting.

If you guys would be so kind:

I deleted the original PM's I sent out so for whatever reason I don't receive messages if you reply to the old ones. So just send me orders in a new PM and I'll be sure not to delete them this time.

So if you already sent them in reply just send them again in a new PM.

I currently don't have orders from:

Mathias

Zack

Sean

Spring brought many interesting moves by our 7 dictators. Some for the good and others for the worse. Ngata, a former military man who turned to politics could do little as the Arch Duke sat back and waited for an imminent doom. That is until he rounded up the old posse and usurped the throne. Austria is now a military dictatorship run by General Ngata.

Let's see how he's faring with his first act as the commander of Austria shall we?

tgpgames1901f1901m.png

He stays a little conservative knowing that the former ruler dug himself a hole. The General decides to hold his forces on his Northern front while taking the Supply Center in Serbia. It's not to late for Austria, if he is able to make some friends he can reclaim his territory.

germanyd.png

The Generals main concern now, Germany is still going to make a push despite the change in command. Wit the help of the Italian Army in Venice he will be able to push through Austria's front lines. Trieste will be under German control next season. The Kaisers Army in Kiel will attempt to take another Supply Center in Holland. He also goes for a third in Sweden.

italyah.png

Germanys' new found friend Italy also plays rather conservatively this round. Aside from helping the Kasier push into Austria he holds in Tuscany and goes for the Supply Center in Tunis. Don't let the Kaiser take advantage of your friendship. Make sure you get what's coming to you.

turkeyz.png

In Turkey the Sultan Razor keeps moving North and colleting those Supply Centers. He moves his army in Bulgaria to Greece and replaces it with his army from Constantinople with a friendly push from his Fleet in the Black Sea to make sure he isn't impeded in his movements.

russiaafx.png

Trident the Czar of Russia has no intent of getting involved in this Austria conflict just yet. He holds in Rumania to make sure he receives his Supply Center, also holding in Sevastapol. His army in the Ukraine moves toward the conflict into Galacia. His fleet in the Gulf of Bothnia also tries for the unclaimed territory of Sweden. A small conflict in the north ends in a stalemate between the Russians and Germans and they both retreat to their original positions.

englandi.png

The King of England moves onto the mainland this turn. His army was spotted making it's way up the coasts of Belgium via a convoy with his fleet in the North Sea. He makes sure to also claim a second supply center in Norway for the next season.

francek.png

Prime Minister Vin also elects to stay put this season and wait before getting heavily involved. His fleet in the Atlantic moves to claim Portugal and holds in both Spain and Brest.

All orders considered:

Resolved orders:

tgpgames1901f1903.png

http://imageshack.us/a/img541/6152/tgpgames1901f1903.png

Ngata your fleet in Trieste can either Disband or Retreat. If you choose to retreat you can move it either to the Adriatic Sea or Albania.

The rest of you have build orders to get in:

Germany: 3 Builds

England: 2 Builds

France: 2 Builds

Turkey: 2 Builds

Russia: 1 Build

Italy: 1 Build

Austria: No Builds

Build and retreat orders shouldn't take long. Get to it.
