JetsFan4Life 542 Posted June 14, 2013 Another one: The Blair Witch Project. I thought it was soooo overrated. It was not really scary at all, IMO. When I was nine that movie was amazing but I rewatched it 10 years later and was like meh. Didn't think it was worst ever category though.
East495 55 Posted June 15, 2013 Battlefield Earth...Travolta's worst ever! Based on that scientology BS! Son of the Mask...pure garbage The Blair Witch Project...utter stupidity, walked out 30 min into it. I'm ashamed to say I even went! Skyline Catwoman...yep with Halle Berry. The Happening Lady in the Water Jack and Jill..unusual for Adam Sandler, cuz I like most of his movies Cloverfield Suckerpunch Terminator: Salvation I'll probably catch flak for this but...The Harry Potter series.. ALL OF THEM! Barely made it thru the 1st one, and they made how many of these?

Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 15, 2013 Dogshit? Can't remember if these were mentioned but... Ghost Rider movies were so bad. SOOOOO BAD. IMO.
OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Dogshit? Can't remember if these were mentioned but... Ghost Rider movies were so bad. SOOOOO BAD. IMO. I generally find most movies with Nicholas Cage to be repulsively bad. There are definitely some exceptions, however (one of them being the FIRST National Treasure). EDIT: I also enjoyed The Rock and World Trade Center. After looking through all of Cages' movies on Wikipedia, I can't say I enjoy any of the other ones I have seen. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 15, 2013 I generally find most movies with Nicholas Cage to be repulsively bad. Pretty rare to damn near impossible.

OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 Ya, finding a good Cage movie is like trying to find a Michael Bay movie without pointless explosions. Pretty rare to damn near impossible. Funny you say that, because they share a movie that meets both of these qualifications: The Rock.
OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 Still plenty of pointless explosions, but still an awesome movie. There are plenty of pointless explosions relative to the average film; however, relative to the average Michael Bay film, it came off as if he was trying to actually develop a story that wasn't dependent upon the main characters running through explosions that 100% of people would die from. OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Vikingfan Great minds think alike. I'd +1 you, Stevo, but I rep-whored today and I have none reps to give. Edited July 15, 2013 by Vikingfan465
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 15, 2013 I really do love that movie.. But that's probably more Sean Connery. Losers always whine about their best, winners go home and fuck the prom queen.
OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 I really do love that movie.. But that's probably more Sean Connery. .. This statement warrants a hypothesis I have just developed. The Rock was only good because of the presence of Sean Connery. Think about it, Nicholas Cage hasn't had a movie as good as The Rock since then. Michael Bay has developed what appears to be the early signs of a sexual fetish with explosions without Connery there. Coincidence? I think not.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted July 15, 2013 I really do love that movie.. But that's probably more Sean Connery. Losers always whine about their best, winners go home and fuck the prom queen. Connery was fucking great, but Ed Harris was a great bad guy as well. Also, Nic Cage's ridiculousness came off as more funny than stupid most of the time. "There's a madman in there with his hand on a...on a BUTTON!"
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted July 15, 2013 Absolutely, Ed Harris was great too. This might be controversial, but I really... Really hated this movie.
OSUViking 505 Posted July 15, 2013 Another enjoyable movie with Cage in it: Kick-Ass. The difference here is that he is just a supporting character who still is mildly annoying, but doesn't have a big enough movie to make me ragequit.
