BLUE 1,026 Posted August 29, 2013 The Patriots also sanitized their practice facility for precautionary measures, and I don't blame them: http://itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports/newengland/football/patriots/2013/08/28/report-pats-sanitize-facility-in-wake-of-mrsa-outbreak/
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 2, 2013 It gets better. @AmandaTynes9 The Bucs informed my husband via EMAIL that he will be placed on NFI. Wouldn't expect anything more from such a classy organization. #blkout http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown-corner/buccaneers-place-lawrence-tynes-non-football-injury-because-142039864--nfl.html
Bucman 891 Posted September 3, 2013 She mad . Dude is getting 800k to sit on his ass for the entire season. Also he said he had some treatment on a overgrown toenail and a few days later it started to swell and pus. So where ever that treatment happened, thats probably where this came from. So hopefully he brought it into OBP and the Bucs can not pay him at all.
blotsfan 2,112 Posted September 5, 2013 Its a dick move by the Bucs. Putting him on non-football injury means that it doesn't count towards pension and other benefits.
BucD+ 648 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) Its a dick move by the Bucs. Putting him on non-football injury means that it doesn't count towards pension and other benefits. It's only a dick move if the infection happened in the Bucs' facility. She mad . So was that treatment done at OBP or did he not specify? If it did happen at OBP then them putting him on NFI list is a big dick move and I don't particularly blame Tynes (even though they are still going to paying his base contract in full) for being pissed and possibly taking further action. BUT, if it didn't, then he really doesn't have much to bitch about. Either way, it will be hard to prove one way or another for both sides. Will probably settle out of court. Interesting enough, the local radio here had Charley Casserly on for an interview and when asked about the situation, and them putting him on the NFI list, he said the league most likely advised them to do it. Bucman 891 Posted September 5, 2013 Its a dick move by the Bucs. Putting him on non-football injury means that it doesn't count towards pension and other benefits. Putting him on the IR would be the Bucs admitting he got it from the Bucs facility and admitting fault in any lawsuit Tynes brings against them. Would be stupid for them to do that.
