SteVo+ 3,702 Posted March 8, 2014 Market closed! TGP members have invested almost $350,000. We shall see what free agency brings. Again, the next evaluation period will be in early May, before the draft, at which point the market will open for trading again.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted March 14, 2014 So guys, I'm thinking two months is too long to let the market be closed. I say we open it around mid-April. There's not likely to be much movement from then until the draft, but it will give members an opportunity to buy/sell sooner. What say you, stockholders and spectators? SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Okay, guys: the market is open for trading! Below are the updated team prices, in spoiler tags. These prices have been adjusted based on free agency signings, though as I said, by very small amounts. Interestingly, no team's share prices went down. Most stayed the same, and those who increased did so by less than a dollar with one exception. Please read the rules below carefully. Rules/Procedures Stockholders, see below to see how much money you now have to work with. You can buy new stock, sell the stock you currently own, etc. If you do not announce a decision, your current stock will be kept. A member who is new to trading has $100,000 in his/her "account," free to spend on stocks. The market will close May 5th, Monday night, at 11:59pm EST. No more shares can be bought/sold after this time. The market will re-open Saturday May 17th, two weeks, with new prices. So, between then and now, share prices will only change based on results of the NFL Draft and any other news that should occur. Members may buy/sell stocks publicly in this thread, or privately through PM. All share transactions will be published at the conclusion of the market's opening (some time this weekend). Any questions can be directed to this thread. Stock Prices These are the prices per share of each NFL team's stock. RazorStar 4,025 Posted May 3, 2014 If it isn't too much trouble, would you mind posting how the stocks increased or decreased after each period. Like Jacksonville went up 50 cents or whatever, but I don't want to have go back and forth on that to see how each stock moved.
