BwareDWare94 723 Posted May 20, 2014 My God, people are going to overreact to Kawhi Leonard all over again. Dude's a good player but a couple of good plays in the playoffs and it's like he's the second coming.
Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted May 20, 2014 I don't think anyone is saying he's the second coming but if you don't see how good he is and how he is still growing, then you are oblivious. His defense is one of the best among the league and is always against the best offensive player. His offensive game is growing and he is doing better making plays and getting his own points rather than being a corner 3pt specialist.

Bucman 891 Posted May 20, 2014 (edited) I hope the Wolves trade Love to fucking Milwaukee. Why?They have done a terrible job at putting a team around him and he gave them plenty of time. Edited May 20, 2014 by Bucman
The Admiral 28 Posted May 20, 2014 The Spurs have had past playoff runs ruined due to injuries to the big 3. So while I don't necessarily feel bad for Thunder fans, I do understand their frustration. Still going to be a good series. It's far from over with Westbrook and Durant on the other end. Go Spurs Go! Kawhi playing great.
BwareDWare94 723 Posted May 20, 2014 Why?They have done a terrible job at putting a team around him and he gave them plenty of time. Not really. Last year, the Wolves were Kevin Love playing defense and therefore inspiring his teammates to play defense away from at least being the 7-8 seed discussion. All it would take is for the Wolves to become better on the defensive end. The assertion that Kevin Love doesn't have a significant part in Minnesota's struggles is flawed. If he'd just play both ends of the court, the team would be better.
JoseR21 4 Posted May 20, 2014 Ok, I'm back to this site... ECF tonight... Who do you guys have winning tonight? Obviously I'm going with the Heat. (I'm a heat fan) lol
blotsfan 2,112 Posted May 20, 2014 This series is gonna be like the 2011 conference finals. Heat lose game one badly, people overreact, and then they win the rest

DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted May 21, 2014 Vogel should of given PG a different assignment in the 4th, or give him breaks from guarding Lebron from time to time. Spo did it, and it with Lebron and it was a good move.
BwareDWare94 723 Posted May 21, 2014 That, and why did he let his team completely go away from Stephenson after that nasty 3rd quarter? Made no sense.
Bucman 891 Posted May 21, 2014 Paul George is so far from a superstar player. They don't have those kinda shitty games when it matters most.

BwareDWare94 723 Posted May 21, 2014 Paul George is so far from a superstar player. They don't have those kinda shitty games when it matters most. Dude was shadowing LeBron all night (and actually did a pretty good job, considering). He was probably exhausted. Paul George is a superstar. All superstars have bad offensive games when it doesn't matter AND when it does matter. It happens. Nobody is immune to a poor offensive game. Why is there a three day wait between games? This is stupid.
BwareDWare94 723 Posted May 21, 2014 So Stephenson gets fined for his game 2 flop but LeBron doesn't get fined for his game 2 flops. Do the rules even apply to #6 or should we just accept he gets to skate by on just about everything? I mean the guy gets to run people over going to the basket, he gets to strip the ball without a whistle every time AND he gets to avoid a whistle every time he blocks a shot. Why even pretend the rules apply to him. Can't we just acknowledge that he gets special treatment?
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted May 22, 2014 Spurs making the Thunder feel as if they just don't belong here. Outclassed in every which way. Give OKC the Old Yeller treatment and just put them out of their misery.

blotsfan 2,112 Posted May 22, 2014 Man, I'm starting to think I really underrated Ibaka.
Packers Dynasty 2010 116 Posted May 22, 2014 Is this really going to come down to Ibaka? Would he really make the difference in a 35pt game? Would he be the one closing on 3pth shooters? Would he make it so Leonard doesn't play as suffocating defense on KD? C'mon, he is definitely missed but not this much.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted May 22, 2014 I think it's pretty obvious they miss Ibaka. I mean, SA is shooting a crazy % and crushing the Thunder in the paint. CRUSHING. But that does go beyond just one guy. I wonder if any of it is mental at this point, as well.
