Bangy 19 Posted August 8, 2015 I'll see your 6 in a row and raise you by 1. 7 IN A ROW, plus Washington lost again meaning the Mets are now 2.5 games up. God bless Wilmer Flores
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted August 8, 2015 The Blue Jays might be the best team in the AL after their trades. I thought there was a chance it could happen, but it's still amazing to see. Pirates are still chuggin' along. Wish Burnett was healthy though.

Like... you mean how many games the Cardinals are up in the NL Central right now Which honestly is even more impressive knowing that the 2nd place team has the 3rd best record in baseball right now.

I can't lie the central with the Cards and Pirates looks so strong. That said no one thought the Mets weren't expected to be close to the Nats let alone be leading. There performance has been both unexpected and impressive this season
BigBen07 285 Posted August 8, 2015 (edited) Happy for Mets fans. They've been fun to watch. The Blue Jays might be the best team in the AL after their trades. I thought there was a chance it could happen, but it's still amazing to see. Pirates are still chuggin' along. Wish Burnett was healthy though. Looking like that after a 6-0 shutout win today! Getting production from everyone lately. 7th win in a row and 2.5 back of first. Yeah Burnett's injury came at the wrong time. 6 in a row? I've always liked the NL Central, especially the last few seasons given it's competitiveness. Cubs are making things even more interesting so far. In fact I'd like to see the Cardinals, Pirates and Cubs in the playoffs, at the expense of the Giants Edited August 8, 2015 by BigBen07

BigBen07 285 Posted August 11, 2015 Pirates swept the Dodgers. Day off today. Next up: 3 game set in STL. Last night's game was just crazy. That Dodgers bullpen is a mess for sure. Props to the Buccos for the 9 run inning. Jays are also off, then they have a 3 game set at home vs. OAK.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted August 11, 2015 Cardinals rotation is sitting at a 2.77 ERA, which is the lowest for an entire group of starters in 30 years. Only two teams have had an ERA so low and also having so many K/9 as the Cardinals (Cardinals are at 8) in the last 95 years. The Cardinals rotation is also on pace to allow the fewest runs of any rotation in history. HIstorically good rotation... After losing our #1 and trading away Shelby Miller. That's nuts. (In before I jinx it and the Pirates score 10 per game)
