BwareDWare94 723 Posted October 30, 2017 I'm loving the fact that no team is looking untouchable right now. Should make for a great second half to the season and playoffs. The Vikings only had to play a quarter and a half of football to beat the Browns. Truly pathetic. The rest of the NFC is going to be rofl-ing if Minnesota sticks with Case Keenum for the rest of the year. The Eagles OL will need to gel with Vitai or Wentz will need to be even better than he has been so far. Who needs Martavis Bryant in Pittsburgh? JJSS is the truth. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted October 31, 2017 No huge upsets this week, nothing altering the landscape of the league. Are things starting to settle out at the halfway point, or is this just a calm week? My random thoughts of the week... Dallas will re-enter the playoff picture. If Elliott avoids suspension they have a good shot to win the division. The Eagles have a big question mark on the offensive line. If they can protect Wentz and mask the loss of Jason Peters, they can win the Super Bowl. If they can't, they're one and done. Where have the Saints come from? Five straight wins and now they're the favorite in the NFC South. You could make an argument for them as the second best team in the NFC. Deshaun Watson is a rising star. What a performance, and what a game that Seattle/Houston battle was. Speaking of Watson... The Cleveland Browns have, through draft trades, passed on Carson Wentz and Watson in consecutive years. Enough is enough. Time to draft a quarterback. Interesting draft story possibly on the horizon regarding the Giants. Assuming they end up with a top-5 pick, do they take the QB of the future to replace Eli? Or do they draft a game-changer like Saquon Barkley and try to squeeze one more Lombardi out of the Manning era? Really looking forward to tonight's game. Someone's about to lose their 3rd in a row with a tough game next week (Kansas goes to Dallas, Denver to Philly). Teams that strike me as overrated based on record: Miami (4-3) and Minnesota (6-2). Teams that strike me as underrated based on record: Dallas (4-3) and Houston (3-4).
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted October 31, 2017 What I said the last time the Lions played a game: The Lions find new and creative ways to both win and lose. Pretty wild, I watch then every week to.see what'll happen next. RazorStar 4,025 Posted October 31, 2017 This offense is abysmal. Most games Siemian doesn't have time. When he does have time the receivers are drop magnets or he throws some shitty pass that no one should make. We don't have a guy who can make a big game changing play on offense and that kills our morale. Hopefully a high draft pick can get us a guy who can make a difference, and we don't go shooting for a big dumb arm talent and waste another early pick on those guys. As bad as Siemian has been, does anyone honestly think Osweiler or Lynch would be an improvement? Noooo.
