SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 5, 2011 Flyers have the Bruins right where they want them. Victory is four games away! No, we're done. After game 2, the Flyers have nothing left, and I don't blame them. Tampa/Boston is gonna be a hell of a hockey series.
Sarge+ 3,436 Posted May 5, 2011 I got Boston in 6 over Tampa.
Maverick 791 Posted May 5, 2011 I got Boston in 6 over Tampa. Very close to my prediction, except make it 7.
Trinatas 8 Posted May 5, 2011 I was just thinking how epic a Bruins-Sharks Stanley Cup would be. Joe Thornton going against his former team, what a storyline.

That it is. I'll also say Boston in 7. Bruins going to the Cup! I was just thinking how epic a Bruins-Sharks Stanley Cup would be. Joe Thornton going against his former team, what a storyline. Sharks need to get by the Wings (which they are doing so far) and the Canucks/Predators first.
BigBen07 285 Posted May 7, 2011 Damn. Bruins really took it to Philly. Well, next up for them is Tampa! And LOL San Jose for failing to close out Detroit tonight.
Maverick 791 Posted May 7, 2011 A lot of OTs and all my hated teams are knocked out...these have been the best playoffs ever. :grinno:

Sarge+ 3,436 Posted May 9, 2011 I think Detroit will come all the way back and win the series.
Bangy 19 Posted May 10, 2011 We aint dead yet and it is about the right time that the Sharks choked in the playoffs.
BigBen07 285 Posted May 10, 2011 SHOCKER! Vancouver didn't need 7 games to beat Nashville!!!

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 11, 2011 Damn, what's up with teams coming back from down 3-0? Flyers did it last year, Chicago was one game away this year (and in overtime no less), and now Detroit has the opportunity to do it. WHAT IS GOING ON

JetsFan4Life 542 Posted May 13, 2011 I think Detroit will come all the way back and win the series. I think I am very happy that did not happen. So, San Jose/Vancouver Western Conference final should be good.
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 13, 2011 Both Conference Finals should be epic. We're down to the nitty gritty now. My preference of teams to win it all: 1. Sharks 2. Canucks 3. Bruins The Lightning are guaranteed not to win the Cup so I don't count them.
RANGA+ 1,210 Posted May 13, 2011 I almost cried when the Red Wings lost...what an intense series. I think Vancouver should beat the Sharks, but Lightning v Bruins is too close to call imo. Lightning probably have the edge though. Steve Yzerman has done a great job with that team this year. Still hurts too see him not part of the Red Wings organisation though. Bangy 19 Posted May 13, 2011 I am gutted that the Wings couldn't quite pull it out. I hope that the Sharks can now go on to win seeing as they beat the Wings, are playing the Canuks and they seem to have finally worked out how to stop choking. Though how awesome would it be to see the green men in the Stanley cup finals lol
Maverick 791 Posted May 13, 2011 Damn, that was one intense game last night. Datsyuk > Ovechkin As far as predictions and favorite go for this round... San Jose > Vancouver Boston > Tampa Bay Both my preferable two teams to win, too.

The Wings never quit even when they went down by 2 goals in Game 7. That was an amazing series. Here are my Conf. Final picks: Sharks over Canucks in 7 Bruins over Lightning in

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted May 14, 2011 BucD, for the record, I root against the Lightning because they have so many front-running, fairweather fans, but as far as I can tell, you're not one of them. So props to you, sir.
