BLUE 1,026 Posted April 15, 2011 You have the wrong Manning led team trading up for Costanza.... I wouldn't be upset with Solder for Big Blue, though.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 15, 2011 Haha. Knew you may not like that. I think Costanzo may be one of our biggest draft day risers. I think he could go pretty damn high depending on how the board falls.
BLUE 1,026 Posted April 15, 2011 (edited) Yeah, I'm pretty much resigned to the fact that we'll have to trade up to get Constanza, and trading up is something we don't do in the first round. I'm cool with Solder or Pouncey if either are still on the board. Edited April 15, 2011 by BLUE

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 15, 2011 I doubt the Iggles reach for Brandon Harris. If we take a corner in round one I believe it'll be Jimmy Smith.
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 15, 2011 I doubt the Iggles reach for Brandon Harris. If we take a corner in round one I believe it'll be Jimmy Smith. Except he's gone. And Brandon Harris is going in the bottom of the 1st in quite a few mocks. So I don't think it's THAT big of a reach. Who do you take with with how I have the board falling. Pouncey? Purple Pride 4 Posted April 15, 2011 I think we either draft BPA or someone else. We won't draft someone like Jimmy.

You need secondary help badly, and have for the last like.. 3-4 years. With the QBs off the board, I suppose you could take one of the DE's left. Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 15, 2011 Probably Sherrod. He fits our scheme to a tee just as much as Carimi. Hmm, okay. Almost gave Sherrod to Pittsburgh... I don't think Pouncey goes there, but I didn't really like any of the other teams at the bottom of the first. Except maybe Green bay, but.. eh. Will definitely remember that for my v2 though, thanks. We like Mallet. But with Cook and his problems i dont see why they would take another trouble CB.
Purple Pride 4 Posted April 15, 2011 Also, didn't see this till now. Tyron Smith won't make it past pick 12.

You guys won't go QB high, because you will be bringing in another vet to start for the next few years. Could see a QB taken later though. Also, didn't see this till now. Tyron Smith won't make it past pick 12. One of the harder spots for me, tbh. I was 45/55 on flipping detroit and minny's picks. And it definitely remains a possibility later on. EDIT: Oh, and thanks for all the comments guys. Really appreciate it. Edited April 15, 2011 by Favre4Ever
AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted April 16, 2011 Lots of reaches. I doubt Watt goes in the top 5, Smith going in the top 15 with his character concerns is doubtful, and Ayers at #17 is pretty high. Most people have him going in the late 1st to early 2nd. Love the Bucs pick though.

The draft NEVER falls the way everyone expects it to, so ya gotta add some of those "reaches" here and there.
Tridentdawgpound 1,043 Posted April 17, 2011 I doubt Watt goes in the top 5 I wouldn't put it past the Bungles. Also, I like the pick, etc.
NaTaS+ 958 Posted April 17, 2011 If Patrick Peterson is still on the board and we go with AJ Green, I'm going to rage like I've never raged before.
Tridentdawgpound 1,043 Posted April 17, 2011 I reckon AJ is probably at the top of our board.
Barracuda 629 Posted April 17, 2011 If our board was based on needs then yes Green is at the top. But Peterson and Von Miller are ahead of him on a talent based board...
RANGA+ 1,210 Posted April 17, 2011 (edited) I like this draft..because it's different. It hardly ever falls the way most people expect it too. I agree with Fairley dropping out of the Top 5, but I think Gabbert to Arizona might just be a smokescreen. If Miller is off the board, they very well could trade down, if not just grab Peterson. I like the Patriots trading up to get Quinn, because there's a good possibility they pull something like that. I think Kerrigan might go a bit higher than #22, and I'll be surprised if Pouncey makes it past the Patriots second pick...but overall a solid mock. Nice work JD Edited April 17, 2011 by RANGA
