AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted April 29, 2011 Lots of good DE's still on the board. Can't believe Jordan is still there. I doubt he gets passed the Ravens.
FIDDYDEUCE 81 Posted April 29, 2011 Saints grab Bowers maybe? and no one should be trading up for any of the remaining QBs. They WILL be there.

Rumor has it the Raiders are going to trade up for Kaepernick.... definately would not surprise me either.

AllYouNeedIsLovie 377 Posted April 29, 2011 Saints fail! They trade back up to the 1st to get Mark Ingram and give up their 2nd rounder and next years 1st. Amazing how the Patriots always find these great trades.
oochymp 2,393 Posted April 29, 2011 just got back from work so I'm catching up on what's happened, a few comments: I really like the Locker pick, the guy would have been #1 hands down last year and I think he can become a very good Roethlisberger type QB and really fits into what I think a Munchak coached team will look like, it may have been a reach to take him at 8, but the last time I thought we made a bit of a reach we got Chris Johnson, and that one has worked out pretty well, so I'm good with it. it's crazy to see Fairley go to the Lions, putting him next to Ndamokung Suh is just nasty
Turry 755 Posted April 29, 2011 Saints select ingram. Were ethier drafting sherrod or a DE.
Turry 755 Posted April 29, 2011 Love the pick by the bears. Jets grab that kid from Temple
DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F 2,241 Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) Absolutely love our pick, disappointed it was not Prince, but I knew once I saw Nick on the board, that Prince was not gonna be the pick. Our strength is becoming an even bigger strength, probably one of, if not the best pick in this year's draft at least as far as 1st round goes. Much applause to Schwartz for this pick. I also like what the Saints did, Bears, Giants, Cardinals and Panthers IMO also did a very good job. Not a fan of the Eagles, Vikings and Broncos picks. Oh, yeah.. and... and something is just telling me Clayborn might end up being the guy on draft day. I am one happy cookie. ^_^ Edited April 29, 2011 by DonovanMcnabb for H.O.F
Turry 755 Posted April 29, 2011 Sherrod goes to Green Bay. Round 1 is in the books. How seattle's pick lol
Favre4Ever+ 4,476 Posted April 29, 2011 I'm a little disappointed. Taking tackles in back to back years is a little lackluster.... But with that said, Ted knows what he is doing. Aaron is our biggest asset, and Sherrod is a great guy in pass protection.

Turry 755 Posted April 29, 2011 Still alot of good defensive players left. Brooks Reed, Akeem Ayers and bowers
FartWaffles 1,857 Posted April 29, 2011 Still alot of good defensive players left. Brooks Reed, Akeem Ayers and bowers I will be frickin' ecstatic if the Texans can land either Ayers or Reed in the second round. Here are my awards/fails for the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft... Greatest Value: Prince Amukamara to the Giants Biggest Reach: Christian Ponder to the Vikings @ #12 overall The Perfect Fit: Gabe Carimi to the Bears A Questionable Fit: Corey Liuget to the Chargers
SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 29, 2011 After day one, the best players still available per mega-board: 9. DE Da'Quan Bowers 25. OLB Akeem Ayers 30. CB Brandon Harris 31. RB Mikel Leshoure 32. QB Ryan Mallett 33. DE/OLB Justin Houston 34. TE Kyle Rudolph

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted April 29, 2011 Everybody criticized me for drafting Ras-I Dowling 33rd overall in the mock draft game. One of the best drafters in the business just took Ras-I Dowling 33rd overall. Boom.
