Game is at Soldier field so I am expecting it to be a close one, but I think the Falcons win. Rooting for the Bears though.

Giving the Bears D the benefit of the doubt and saying they'll continue last years dominance. But Atlanta still has Matt Ryan, Roddy White, and Julio Jones.

Falcons and Bears always put on a good show. I can't wait personally. I'll take you up on a signature bet.

I'm going to watch the game with a Bears fan, at his house. A lot of Falcons fans are thinking this is an easy win for them, not me, I have a feeling this will be a tough game to come out of. Especially at Soldier field.

Ok challenge accepted. Whichever team wins, the fan if that team gets to make the other fan wear one sig of the winners choosing for one week exactly. Those seven days can be at any time the winner chooses, and the loser must not wear any other sigs while serving their time for the bet.

Let it be known that ATL was to much of a pussy to accept this offer. ;)

This should be an interesting game. I see the Falcons having a more dynamic offense this year, but the Bears D should still be pretty good unless all this Briggs crap effects them. Falcons struggled some against the well playing defenses last season, so only a fool would think this will be an easy win. I still pick the Falcons, because of the Bears offense and the Falcons ability to capitalize on turnovers, but it should be a good game to watch.

According to Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune, Jay Cutler will be without one of his new weapons wwhen the Bears open the season Sunday. Running back Marion Barber will miss the game with a sore calf muscle. Barber suffered the injury during the Bears' August 27 preseason game against the Titans and has been unable to practice since. Offensive coordinator MikeMartz says Barber will be missed. "He's just such a violent runner,'' Martz said. "He's a guy who can certainly jump cut and do all those things, but he'll take a defender on, too, and break tackles that way. He's kind of a complete back in that way.'' Kahlil Bell will now move up the depth chart to be Matt Forte's backup despite the fact that Bell did not get a single regular season carry in 2010.

Bears declared RB Marion Barber, QB Nate Enderle, DL Corey Wootton, C Edwin Williams, WR Sam Hurd, DT Stephen Paea, and DL Mario Addison inactive for Week 1 against the Falcons.

Kahlil Bell is active as the backup running back, though Matt Forte is the favorite for goal-line work. Paea is buried on the depth chart, having failed to impress in training camp. Matt Toeaina will start at nose tackle over Anthony Adams

Falcons declared DT Corey Peters, C Todd McClure, DB Darrin Walls, RB Antone Smith, LB Spencer Adkins, OG Mike Johnson, and DL Cliff Matthews inactive for Week 1 against the Bears.

Peria Jerry is starting for Peters, and may end up keeping the job. Joe Hawley is filling in for McClure; it's a downgrade in the ground attack.
