SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 17, 2011 Team Colors Based on the popularity, our primary color will be some variation of green. What we need to decide, then, is: A: Do we want a solid green, similar to Marshall University, or a dark green, closer to what the Philadelphia Eagles use? B: What is our secondary color? Some choices: black, white, silver, gold, blue, etc. School Logo/Nickname After scrolling through all the possible logos, I have weeded out the gay-looking ones, and present the following list, from which we must choose. Bears Bobcats Broncos Bulls Cardinals Cougars Crusaders (shield logo) Dragons Eagles Hawks Huskies Jaguars Lightning Panthers/Tigers (paw logo) Rams Wildcats Wolves School Location Simply put: where in the United States should TGP University be located? Keep in mind we will be joining the ACC, so try to think eastern seaboard. Rival School This will probably depend on where we end up being located, but who should our rival be? Stadium Details Our stadium will be named The Palace, because, what else could it be? We do, however, need to decide on a few things. Stadium Type: -Dual Sides (20,000 attendance) -Square (30,000) -Dome (65,000) -Horseshoe (68,000) -Bowl (74,000) -Upper Deck (85,000) Field Surface: -Natural Grass -Artificial Turf -Grassy Turf -Blue Turf -Multi Turf After we determine our team colors, nickname, and logo, we can start working on uniforms. rzb+ 367 Posted September 17, 2011 Colors: Dark green with gold/yellow -- Needs to be something that doesn't look like anything else in the conference. Logo: Crusaders (shield logo) -- Our NFL team is the Vindicators so why not crusade as well? Location: Norfolk, VA -- Center of the conference and large population. Rival: Virginia Tech -- Gotta beat the best to be the best. Stadium: Bowl -- Trap in that sound to throw off the visiting team. Field: Multi Turf -- Hell, why not? TGP Crusaders sounds tiiiiiight. SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 17, 2011 I'm a big fan of rzb's suggestions as well, though I must warn you guys the multi-turf does not look nearly as cool as it sounds. I humbly suggest grassy turf.

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 19, 2011 (edited) Okay, unless anyone has any strong objections, we are rolling with the following: School Name: TGP Nickname: Crusaders Logo: Shield Primary Color: Dark Green Secondary Color: Gold Location: Norfolk, VA Rival: Virginia Tech Stadium Name: The Palace Stadium Type: Bowl So now we must determine our uniform configuration. I'll leave this totally open-ended but give you guys a breakdown of what our options are, including some pictures for reference so you guys know what our choices will look like. A. Helmet Helmet Style Plain: Simple, one solid color, with just the team logo. Example: Chicago Bears. Single Stripe: One thin stripe going down the middle of the helmet. Example: New York Giants. Triple Stripe: Two stripes of one color on the outside, then a slightly thicker stripe on the inside. Can also function as a double stripe if the inside stripe is the same as the helmet color. Example: Green Bay Packers. Short Stripe: A single stripe that starts thick at the back of the helmet then thins and comes to a point near the front of the helmet. Example: Denver Broncos. Helmet Color Stripe Color(s) (if applicable) Facemask Color B. Jersey Jersey Type Classic: Solid color. Nothing on the jersey except numbers and team logos. Example: Michigan Wolverines. Single Sleeve: One solid stripe at the base of the sleeve. Example: Penn State Nittany Lions. Triple Sleeve: Two thin stripes of one color outside a thick stripe of another color. Example: Auburn Tigers. Single Shoulder: One solid stripe around the shoulder. Example: USC Trojans. Triple Shoulder: Same as above, but with a triple stripe design instead of one solid color. Example: Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. Modern: A solid stripe along the side of the jersey that comes up to a point on both sides near the neck. Example: Denver Broncos. Jersey Color Stripe Color(s) (if applicable) Number Style [These are hard to describe but they're all mirror images of already existing designs so I'll just use examples. Style 1: Example: New York Giants. Style 2: Example: Philadelphia Eagles. Style 3: Example: Denver Broncos. Style 4: Example: Chicago Bears. Style 5: Example: Tennessee Titans. Number Color Number Outline Color (if applicable) Player Names: On/Off C. Pants Pants Style Plain: Speaks for itself, solid color with no stripes. Single Stripe: A thin stripe down the side of the pants. Triple Stripe: Same as above but with additional stripes on either side. Short Stripe: A thick single stripe at the belt that thins to a point near the knees. Pants Color Stripe Color(s) (if applicable) Belt Color Edited September 19, 2011 by SteVo

SteVo+ 3,702 Posted September 20, 2011 I had a feeling this would be too in-depth...let's try it this way... Obviously our home jersey has to be green and our away jersey has to be white. So: -What color should our helmet/pants be?
RazorStar 4,025 Posted September 20, 2011 Green Pants to the away jersey and to the home jersey. White helmet for away games, green for home games. Obviously having gold be the detail colour throughout.
